We practice social distancing year around when there’s a risk of illness. Get sick, don’t go to work. Get sick, stay home from school. Cover your cough. Wash your hands. What we don’t need are businesses in regions least affected to stay shut down. We need them open and allow people to go back to work while remaining mindful of proper sanitary habits.. But rest assure,...there will be a second wave, just like there always is. It’s called Fall, when the temps drop and people start to shutter in more. And those with compromised immunities are going to get hit again the hardest because we will have prevented herd immunity back in the winter and early spring. Rick

This guy must be insane? 35 year practicing epidemiologist Knute Wittkinson says this flu outbreak is not unlike most other flu outbreaks. Says he’s not paid by the government, he actually practices science. LOL He also calls it the flu? What? Says flu outbreaks always start to end in the spring. What? Who knew???????????????????🤷🏻♂️ Says the elderly & the compromised should have been protected but that schools should have remained open to allow the virus to run its course and build heard immunity, which is what kills viruses.. . Shelter-in-place is protecting the virus by preventing heard immunity, ensuring a second wave this fall. CRAZY TALK!!!!! Rick

The CDC estimates the 2017-2018 season killed 61,000 Americans. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/past-seasons.html But they are not currently estimating Covid-19. The National Vital Statistics System has directed the CDC and all Medical Directors to code ALL DEATHS related to this strain as a U07.1 Covid-19 death regardless of any underlying condition. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nvss/coronavirus/Alert-2-New-ICD-code-introduced-for-COVID-19-deaths.pdf Rick

Can you tell me how many deaths in this current “pandemic”, (which we have seen in our lifetime,...if your over 6 years old that is)....happened to a healthy individual that had no underlying health issues? For instance,...the 1,000 deaths counted yesterday,...can you tell me how many had no underlying health problems? Rick
