I still think that if we protected a bit better and added some speed to our receiving corps, it would open up the whole offense. You will then begin to see the offense as it was meant to be. It seems they have added speed and blocking should improve with the current group. The defense is a whole different animal that will only improve once the dline is improved. I don't know about keeping the coach longterm, but keeping the program going is wholly possible. Just look at our neighbors to the Sw in Fort Worth. Franchione got the ball rolling and a capable coach from his staff kept it going in Patterson. We can do the same thing here with capable coaches in the balannce. The Frogs are a good example for us. I'm not sure I agree. Who would have thought we would have found Fitzgerald as a key player so quickly after Johnnie Quinn. The talent may just not have risen to the top, or maybe we get a key Jc player. Talent is just around the corner. He sure was a nice player, though. That you are correct about.

I am with you Euless Eagle. I do think we have a good core returning. If we get a good number of JC's that can contribute added to the current mix, this could bring the mean back in the Mean Green.
