Tim Brewster, the Minnesota coach is a very good recruiter with Texas ties. That is why he is able to get good recruits from the area.

Good points one and all! If the team is going to take a leap forward it has to come from the d-line. If you get that production, I think the team will be much improved. I also feel the offensive line could be awesome if it all falls together right. We may be better than people think. GMG

I am happy with our schedule this year. I am hoping the first two games will be competitive, unlike the pasting we have taken in the first game the last few years. I give kudos to the AD for this year's schedule. GMG

Do you think it is possible that Vizza saw the writing on the wall? Two unsuccessful seasons as starting QB. He knew Riley was no threat last year, and he would more than likely would be redishirted that first year. You can't tell me he didn't see enough of the young Dodge as a redshirt to know he had a fight on his hands for the starting job. Maybe it is a blessing he went elsewhere? I think we should root for whoever is the QB, but my money tells me that Riley has the ability to do great things for this program. GMG
