I honestly can see him keeping his job regardless of whether they get to 6 wins or not. If they were to be more competetive against a more competetive schedule, I can see him keeping his job. The schedule is more challenging this year based on the league we are in. Not that I agree with that, but I can see it being their mindset. They may be looking for baby steps where the fanbase is looking for leaps and bounds. GMG GMG

Watching some of the highlights on this player makes me think he could be special. He is very quick off the ball and hits the ball carrier - qb with a ferocity I haven't seen in some time. I think the coaching staff may have gotten a steal with him. Anyone want to echo my sentiments? GMG!

It could be as simple as the coach trying to install a new offensive system with the parts that just aren't meshing. He may just have to recruit his style of ballplayer to fit the system he is installing. Unfortunately, that may not be the answer you want to hear because of the expectations. This system may not be the best for the type of player that was hear when he arrived, but I do see it as an offensive system that is more team oriented. Johnnie's style revolved more along isolation, whereas this seems to revolve on rotating the basketball with its many facets to get an open shot. Both can be effective with the talent it has on hand. It may take a class or two until we see the type of team ball you were hoping for. GMG

I'm not saying the team hasn't performed this way, but I am hoping you will start to see a new team emerge soon. These 9 day layoffs between games during the holiday can't be good for building continuity for the squad. Just an observation. That will help with conference play coming up soon. GMG
