  1. I just gotta say, go OU. the more teams they abosolutely destroy the better we look
  2. Mean Green Contingent of around 15 in the SMU Student Section. Going to be fun!!!
  3. TEXAS
  4. put me down for one too
  5. Who cares what a few OU coaches said, so they have no class, but they probably were right. This is just the beginning and we can change the entire nation's opinion of us tomorrow! so lets not worry about what another school's coach says about us and just put up on Saturday! GMG
  6. That being said i would kinda like a Dickerson SMU jersey with $$ for the numbers. But that would be mean
  7. Corso is an idiot, but that is god pub for our confrence!
  8. Craig still is proud of his school and has spoken on how he thinks the Dodge signing is a great thing for us, he isn't a homer jike Jub Jub and maybe consecutive crappy seasons have his entusiasm down. I can't wait to see how he reacts monday morning after we kick SMU around in their own house
  9. They have to celebrate something, you can't spend 20+ years wallowing in self pity. When you buy a nice new car you look at it and admire how awesome it is. This is the same thing, but it is like they stole their car, got arrested and have to look at pictures of it in their jail cell.
  10. I'll be there, but my old room mate bought tickets for the game in the SMU student section. So when you see 15 or so UNT alums in the SMU students section that'll be us!!!!
  11. Honestly i can't remember the last time i saw a braided belt for sale in clothing store, so i am going to guess they have been out since the last time that i saw one there, don't remember when that was though.....
  12. I love that the team didn't just hang it up and go inside after the game, they stayed and shared the moment, good or bad, with the fans. Glory to the Green, that's awesome
  13. What a dramatic change in opinion from 2 months ago, are we being a bit fickle here, maybe a touch to hard on Roman? besides he said Denton is a great college town, that has to buy him some slack right?
  14. Good point but at the same time, we were at the mercy of a duble edged sword, if we were to play more of a zone and drop our safeties over the top more often then we would have opened up more running lanes up the middle and we would have been gashed there as well. I think that by leaving roman out there on an island the coaches were showing alot of faith in they guy. We are outclassed athletically by that entire team almost and so basically we had to decide how we didn't want them to beat us. Roman won't see that kind of speed again this year probably and at tthe same time we probably won't have to guard against such a good running attatck. Those two weapons left our staff in a bit of a bind.
  15. I'll be there, complete with 4 fence sitters. Old room mates are not that hard to convince to go if you involve beer!
  16. I don't think it was running up the score, our turnovers gave them opportunity after opportunity. Our incompletions stopped the clock which gave them more time and more opportunities. TD did a great job by continuing to run our offence as opposed to tucking tail and runing up the gut every play to run out the clock. OU didn't really have a choice about running up the score, we just kept giving them the ball and giving them mre time. Besides i would rather they do this then take a knee on the two yardline with three minutes left like they did when they killed aTm a couple years ago.
  17. I guess if we are going to B**ch then we might as well go all the way..... but come on the band? seriously? the band? wow..... that is taking this whole complaining thing to a new place. But honestly, as a musician myself, when you are in a band and you look like a group, you play like a group. But we all know that NT is a jazz school, jazz makes for some very individualistic people
  18. Ditto man, Ditto. GMG
  19. Pretty demoralizing, but can you blame him? he was right with his thoughts on the future of our team though
  20. Appreciate the support, it is oing to be interesting to see how hw fare the rest of the year butyou guys definately gave us a great test and hopefully a great learning experience. I watched the game with my father, a former OU BBall player, and of course the old guy gave me some crap but all in all he and his OU buddies were pretty supportive of us, especially when Vizza threw that long TD!
  21. I was very encouraged by that game actualy! That long TD was the first i can remember in a long time that we have scored against our first game big ticket money game opponent. I can't wait to see how much GREEN is going to be in the stands at SMU. GMG
  22. Vizza's ability to stay in the pocket was a relief for me. I was getting really frustrated watching Meager run wide and throw the ball at the guys on the bench.
  23. Just a thought, but aren't all of OU's backups guys that are probably pretty darn good players? thats kind of like saying well we areplaying against Matt Leinart he is only Carson Palmer's BACKUP!!!!
  24. I think that we might have something special here..... he has been in for 5 minutes and already he has beteer everything than Meager
