No one can easily handle USC. But i think that OU and LSU could handle them pretty well. University of Spoiled Children..... thats funny, like it is Southlake U!!!!!

That cartoon is funny, i just would hate to see one about us! I also hate to subjugate ourselves to SMu by being beaten by them. Nothing would thril me more than to finish this year with a better record than them!!!

I hope that we are not getting passed by in this conference that would be very disapointing. This probably will be a rebuilding year and i am ok with that but to see ASU beat SMU and us not to, that just suck, it kinda hurts a little......

you know, I guess there are two sides of this conversation. The one relating to what is going to draw interest from the paying public, wins.... And the side that is going to draw interest from recruits and respect from other programs, wins over higher ranked teams... I think that it all depends on what side of the equation you are looking at as to what really matters. They both rely on each other though, to be of any importance. If we can get better wins, over better opponents, we can get better recruits to win more. But don't we have to win to get those better recruits in the first place? I am happy that our conference is gaining respect because that looks good on us, unless we get shalacked in conference which isn't going to happen. But in all honesty unless we gain respect for ourselves by winning no amount of help from FAU and MUTTS and ASU is going to make any difference. we have to win, and with TD, i really think that we will!

I suppose that makes sense but we are not going to be making the top 25 this year most likely, maybe next year, the most important thing that you wrote is when we win! Our student body and most of our alumni populace is not going to care about who FAU beat, some will but i dont' think that will be the majority. They will care about the WIN!!!!

My concern is what difference does it make if another SBC school wins. WE NEED TO WIN to raise interest around here. your everyday student couldn't give a rat's A** about FAU beating Minnesota. In fact other than making the SBC a little more noticable, and we are still the SBC even with the wins this weekend, this FAU win doesn't do anything for us that I can tell. The bottom line is this, and it is really simple. We need to win to raise interest here. other SBC schools passing us by and having big OOC wins just makes US LOOK BAD!!! my.02

The ultimate battle of ineptitude, they both suck this year but one of them is going to have to suck less than the other. At this point I am going to say that Michigan is going to suck the least. But they still suck

Isn't that wierd, i seem to remember getting to this school when we were a defensive confrence with no offence, save Cobbs, Galbreath and eventually Thomas. FAU gets a new stadium too huh? i am jealous

Gotta admit that I still have a a soft spot for Galbreath, but in reality.......Haynes, Cobbs and Thomas as a freshman.

by the way, i think that we should shood for around 45K in our new stadium. The way i see it the bigger the stadium the more likely we can draw larger OOC games to our place, and we all want that don't we? btw, i lived at 902 W Hickory, it was an awesom eplace and only two blocks from Fry!!!

When i was in school, Grad 06', I was considered a commuter even though i liived on Hickory st and walked to school every day for three years. The definition of commuter school needs to be looked at again. If you ask me most of the students seem to live in and around the denton area, within five to ten minutes of the school, that does not a comuter school make. Now, i did work downtown, and i had to commute there but that would make me a commuting worker not a commuting student, no matter what the official record says
