Is it just me but is the announcer calling Stickler Strickler? is it really Strickler and the Uniform guys screwed up?

That is a good point, but the way that we have been playing i think that we need a spark.. Dodge doesn't exactly play a conservative game plan. I appreciate the confidence he shows his team and I like the guts he shows by going for it. I would rather tie the game then look at the two point deficit.

I guess i don't see it as chasing points. We are in the same poition wether we make the kick or don't get the two. The only way that we improve our situation is to go for two and make it. I really don't see the risk, besides it is not like the kicking game is working at the moment.

couldn't disagree more, if you make it you are tied and if you don't then you are still a field goal from leading, just like you would be if you kicked the extra point. Good call by Dodge going for two.

I always wanted to go to NT, I was a drummer growing up so it was a logical choice. But aside from that NT gave me a home and a family. My college years were amazing and i never could have asked for anything more than what NT gave me. I will always have fantastic memories of NT, from concerts, to games, and parties and even the occasional class. I guess i feel that by remaining a fan and by stomaching through the hard years that we are going through I can give something back to my school when i have nothing else to give.

I honestly think that going by a feeling at this point might not be such a bad thing. If someone makes us the fans feel like we are doing better imagine how actually scoring and moving the ball on an SEC defense is affecting the players! If the only thing that we have going for us is a feeling, then lets ride that feeling!!!

That scenario honestly, to me anyway seems to be the best scenario from a development standpoint, minus Meager starting next year. I would love to see RD starting as a junior and again as a senior. We were all so excited to get Vizza and I am still really pumped to have him and the possibility of and eaquallyif not bigger and better talent backing him up for two years before taking over as a seasoned player

So, i was thinking. What happens when Riley gets here? It seems to me that there are three options. 1. (not likely) DM keeps playing and since we already burned Vizza's red shirt he backs up and Riley is RS 2. RD and Vizza compete for starting spot and we burn RD's Red Shirt leaving us with three QB's and not enought playing time. 3. Red Shirt RD let Vizza play out his tenure here and during his Junior year, Riley's RS freshman year a QB controvery grows. At this point, do we sit Vizza his Senior year even if he was doing well for us? Presumably that is what is going to happen to DM right? I hjust am wondering what you guys think.....

DM is soing an adequate job, and right now i think that he does give us the best chance to win, no matter how seemingly small that chance is. I agree with whoever it was that said as soon as a conference championship is no longer possible we will see Vizza. That makes the most sense.... give us a chance to win now and when that chance is gone build for the future

I know we draw more than they do. but it isn't much. I have a feeling that this year will be a much better year for turnout for us though

That is a great idea! The more we can get the students to be excited about wearing the green the better! I used to get so frustrated walking around campus seeing other schools t shirts all over the place!

Assuming we can stomach the growing pains that we are experiencing, I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to say the same about us very soon!
