Does anyone know if the game this weekend is televised around Dallas? I am going to try and make it up to D-town but some things are holding me back on the time front. I want to record it or at least find a place to watch for a few minutes if I can get away.. Thanks GMG

Well, it is over and now at 630AM in Praha I am sitting at a computer in the airport drinking a beer so I could get internet access for free. i love this country. The computer thinks that I am spelling everyting wrong, and I probably am. The weekend went fanatastic. It was a freaking family reunion out at the cottage. The only person not there was the GF. Lots of food, lots of beer, home made liquor that tasted like feet and walnuts but is very potent... Good times were had. We bonded a bit by cutting wood with a chainsaw in preperation for winter. We drank a bit and talked about all sorts of things. There was only one person there who spoke any english at all so my Czech was tested, and I failed. But fortunately the phone has a handy translator that works with the internet so I was saved a bit. Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I may have a new family over here and that is a ice feeling. I like these people and this place. One of the things that I like the most thaough is you get to drive 150 kph, 95is mph, on the highway and no one says anything. Just driving 100kph, 60 mph feels good because you are going tripple digits in speed. Psycological I suppose. All of my nerves were for nothing I guess. They all were so happy to meet me and they missed the gf so mch that I could have done anything and they would not have minded. But all in all they had a great time and so did I . Thanks again. And by the way, they have a huge "sin tax" over here. Everything is taxed heavily from gas to ciggarettes to liquor. Just not beer because it is important to Czech Culture. Even the non alcohoic beer tastes good here..... Now to catch a flight

I have learned quite a bit from the gf but a litle more never hurt. I know that her father is bringing the first month's newspapers after the Russian occupancy began in the 60's to show me. Awesomeness is being had by all, well me, cuz I am the ony one here that I know.... I am here on business, but if you are going to travel for work I can think of alot worse places. As far as the sin tax thing.... They have it to, check out gasoline for one. But especially on liquor, wine, cigarettes, coca-cola etc. They actually don't have much of a tax on beer because it is a central part of Czech Culture. I have been learning quite a bit over here about the social, political, economical and personal policies over here and they are interesting. If curious let me know. Now back to the important part of the thread, I might be needing some advice. My girlfriend is from Prague and her parent's are over here. They have been "taking care of me" all week though I have been working and staying at a hotel they have been recruiting english speaking family members and showing me around town, every night a new pub or bar or club or concert. All in all it is great, except for the cant communicate well thing. My question comes here; Tomorrow they are taking me to their cottage outside of Prague, they have basically invited the entire family to come meet me, I think the guest list is up to 12-13 at this point. Now my girl and I are not married or engaged, but she does live with me and she is from Prague as recently as 5 years ago. I don't have any idea what to expect tomorow, what to say to these people (those that speak english or I can find proper statements in the phrase book), I don't know what they expect from me tomorrow.... Basicaly I am in a pickle of anxiety. The cottage will be great, there is supposedly a great little pub there, and horses nearby etc. So how about it fellas, any help?

Not only is the beer over here 10 times better thatnpne most American beer, it is also rediculously cheap too! So much so that the pub I am sitting in is charging 26 kn for this 1/2L of amazing pilsner I am drinking which equates to aboun 2 dollars! Not only that but pretty much everyplace I have been over here in Prague has beer priced less that coca-cola! 26kn for amazing beer or 42kn for a coke. That really isn't even a contest

Of course I am but right now I have found a nice pub to gather with fellow revolters and enjoy a tasty Czech beer or two. I can get back to planning the next eastern ocl revolution after a couple of beers. I am thinking of getting moravia to revolt due to lack of respect and demand to be attached to a better country, I think moravia needs a goods revolt now and again. Besides What else am I supposed to do over here. They speak Czech and my vocal cords don't make those sounds. This language is crazy! We are conducting all Moravian revolution meetings in English.

Regardless of the fact that I agree with you, this is the first time I can remember where someone outright insulted and embarrassed someone else, No Janet Jackson did not seem that embarrassed. I like Kanye's music but after this I will be hard pressed to buy another album , or at the very least have any respect for the emotion soaked lyrics that he speaks. He spend so much time in his music trying to make us feel sorry for him, and at this point I just don't. I don't feel sory for him at all. He is incredibly talented and has achieved all of the desires that he spoke about in his first couple albums. At this point he needs to learn when to shut up. And that includes when MTV asks him to do something. I feel the same way about eminem as his music progressed. He kept asking for pity because of the way he was brought up but not taking into acount the circumstances under which he has brought himself to. I have respect for both of them as artists, but they are both D-Bags as well, though Eminem never did anything like this.

If we beat top ten Bama, and Tune plays a big part in it, then yes we should have a qb controversy. Mid Majors don't beat top ten teams with their back up qb's very often. IF it happens that way, and I hope it does, then lets fight it out, see who gives us the best chance to win. If nothing else then we know we have 2 bad ass qb's. And tht is a good thing

I amnot really lookikng forward to seeing th ending but from everything that I have seen here tells me that this will be a game that gives me a lot of hope, just not in the end.... I think that the one good thing that these talking heads have brought to the debate is taking the policy's and extrapolating them to logical, or not, conclusions.
