helluva game. Helluva second half. Heartbreaking, debilitating, frustrating. That's okay though, we will be back next year. our team put it all out there our team did the best they could. bad shots, poor decisions, things happen. Don't stress about it don't worry about it is what it is. this is been a helluva season and a lot of fun the watch we get to do it again next year. Let's all hope tony mitchell comes back again so next year we can make some noise in the tournament.

I stuck watching this contest on the crappy internet on my phone thanks to espn. Just looking st the stats it seems like Mr Mitchel is kicking some tail! Its a close gamer though...we need Mr Jones to step it up just a but to help pull this out.

Best post on the subject, topic, thread ever. That's exactly right. Our AD is out there pimpin us like he is supposed to, the rest is up to forces outside our control for the moment. We can win, win consistently and maybe once in a while win a big game or five! Our university is doing what it can to move to a different conference, if it doesn't happen this year it isn't over. We still play a season, we still have the opportunity to improve and the opportunity to change our reputation. Let's keep building up out facilities, keep our kick ass basketball team kick ass, build a football program again and lets see what happens! We have a great university, a new conference would be great but not changing now doesn't preclude us from moving up later.

Preach on! The time change has made it possible for me to bring my wife, who is not from this country and doesn't understand football, and also gives her a chance to watch her favorite team the rangers! We both get to see the teams we want to, we get to spend the time together and everyone in my family at least, wins! Great choice AD!

Everyone that lives there works on those days exactly an hour or so before the game and comes home exactly at the time the game ends... It really is miraculous!

I agree. Let them think the worst about JJ. He is our guy and I hope to keep him that way. If he leaves then he deserves the pay raise an the big name school but I am praying that never happens. Best situation, a couple wins in the dance and an AD that can't afford to let all that positive pub leave so we pay him what he is offered elsewhere to keep him It's a longshot, I suspect he will get another offer we can't touch on the next couple years but I say let's not worry about that now. Let's enjoy the magic of OUR GUY and figure the rest of this out when it happens. Go Mean Green and let's all tip our glasses to JJ & co!

Your point makes sense when discussing a normal UNT game, and until we get our fan base amd alums interested that will always be true. BUT..... When little ole UNT absolutely destroys an SEC team that went to the dance last year it deserves at least a passing mention.... At the least! I am not surprised by Th lack of respect and attention but I am surprised by the lack of a mention. We do have a large alum base here and the dismantling of an SEC team on the road is definitely news worthy in the home town, metroplex, of that school.
