I could see them adding exactly what you say: North Texas & UTSA in the west ,and F_U in the east. Any news if the C-USA and Mountain West fotball merger is still being discussed?

This is finally a Mean Green victory over Troy; albeit at their place! The changing of the guard in the Sun Belt is in full swing and we are looking at Arkansas St, Louisiana, FIU, WKU, North Texas being at or near the top for the next 4-5 years.

If I were a FBS coach I'd be sure to have one. Anyone seen the radio, tv, and media appearance stipends these guys make nowadays? At the minimum $1,200 per show; some guys make like $20,000 per show. Scary!

It's hard to agree that we do have the talent or experience on par with FIU, Lafayette, and Arkansas State. I just don't see it.

The changes in approach, discipline, and technique have noticeably began to pay dividends on Gamedays. Bowen has done and continues to do an incredible job, and I really like having a head coach with a defensive mindset.

Best of luck to Freddie in the surgery and rehab process. He is a key piece of the foundation for this program. He was truly fun to watch this season, and hopefully he can recover and be stronger than ever. Look forward to a duo of he and Marcus Trice next fall at CB...

That's kind of funny...in a sad way

Should we devise a plan similar to SMU, and reach out to alumni and boosters to buy up the alottments of single game tickets (reserved and GA seats) and pass them out like candy around town? I know there was a lot working against us last night, but to have less than 50% of the crowd from the first game and almost 10K less than the second game is downright ridiculous. I'm glad we have 10,000 to 13,000 diehards (thank goodness) but good grief... still think that winning will cure so much of this.

Going over to check out that link on the Lafayette board, and seeing images of the crowd last night v. Troy was impressive. It's amazing what winning will do!
