    Absolutely. It would be great for the Schilleci commitment to open up a steady pipeline at Guyer. At least he's working on Jefferson and Heard for us!

    Just in the last 5-6 years some names that come to mind: Darius Carey, Riley Dodge (Fr & Soph year), James Hamilton, Willie Taylor, DeWaylon Cook, Jeremy Phillips, Mike Stokojovic, Cooper Jones, and I am sure there are others. Mac and his staff have targeted several ATH type of QB's during their tenure here in recruiting (Torrance Carr of Richardson at Oklahoma State now, a few of the Louisiana kids, etc) and I would imagine this is a trend that would continue.

    I would expect the UH game to be much closer than last year. Heck, our team at the end of last year versus UH at the end of last year most likely would have been a better ballgame. It should be a good, entertaining ballgame for both teams. I hope the Mean Green nation turns out in full force a la SMU 2006!

    I really think we are in for a treat with some of these youngsters. Lancaster and Harris were great pickups as recruits, and Schrapps has all of the tools to be a good possession guy. Bynes, Delgado, and Chancellor returning is pretty solid. Teegarden and Sampson should help with depth. Plus DT should have plenty of time to get the ball to them this season (don't judge too harshly at LSU- 2 first rounders at D-End).

    Good looking athlete. Harry, I believe #3 was Trey Williams was a 5* RB who signed with aTm and #12 was Austin Garrett who went to Prairie View.

    Good article! 2013 is the year a lot of us look to for a "break out" season. I firmly believe that the talent on that squad can go compete with most of the teams/programs in C-USA

    This was an incredible event last year, truly first class. If you can make it, you should definitely attend!

    That's a dang good lineup and probably close to what it could look like. There have been plenty of discussions regarding the potential of the 2013 ball club, and thank goodness we will have that kind of roster heading into a schedule with Georgia, C-USA, and possibly some MWC teams. I would add a name to the secondary who the coaches seem very excited about: Devante Davis, CB from Baton Rouge. Apparently he may be the most exciting recruit of the Coach Mac era thus far. They are very high on Xavier Kelly as well.

    I would recommend for those of you that can make it, to attend these. They are a lot of fun, and considering the timing of these just following the announcement of the move to C-USA, it couldn't be better. Probably the nicest one I attended last year was at Park Place Lexus in Plano. Jordan and his people had great drinks, outstanding hors d'oeuvres and some music to boot. If you can make it up there next week, I would highly suggest it! Go Mean Green!

    Agree the best bets may be Trice and Freddie Warner. Delgado certainly has the measurables too, but I'm not sure the production resume is there unless he (hopefully will) goes off this year

    Couldn't agree more. Love the high level of accountability and discipline this program is being run with under the fine leadership of Coach Mac and his entire staff. I would highly suggest to everyone on here to try and attend a workout this spring to witness it up close and personal.

    FACILITIES Now that we have Apogee completed; what are the next priorities as far as facility construction and renovations? Do you envision the baseball stadium being on (behind Softball Outfield) or off campus? Timeline for this? CONFERENCE SITUATION Several years ago, you had mentioned that the possibility of a regional/local conference was enticing to you for a number of reasons. With all of the shuffling taking place, do you forsee the possibility of a regional/local conference forming in the next few years? If so, could this be more desirable than the CUSA/MWC Merger? With the way North Texas Athletics have improved in so many ways under your watch, and the direction things are headed; could you forsee the possibility of a larger conference coming after us? Like the Big XII potentially at some point?
