Maybe they are LEED environmentally friendly lights? ...only kidding. The lighting at Apogee seems to be on par with the biggest, baddest stadiums in the country. In fact, everything about Apogee is outstanding! One of the best kept secrets in the NCAA

Very fun to watch Chancellor with the ball in his hands!

6th in the west and 110 overall. Yikes -
Glad to have a guy with an Athletics background on the B.O.R. Thanks for everything Ernie! We need more like you!

Boutwell, McCoy, Mason, Horton, and Q. Brown are all injured and out of spring ball; which means Abbe, Lincoln, Bellazin, Polk, Roberts, Dilonga, Watson, Wallace, and Haboul have to get a ton of reps.

Hate to see Q. Brown down with what may be a serious knee injury. Was really looking for big things from him in the fall; and hopefully it is not serious enough to jeopardize him playing this fall.

It appears to come really easy for Brock. DT still is inaccurate throwing to WR's against air but clearly does look like he has trimmed down. It'll be interesting to follow this spring and should be a lot of fun to watch on Saturday in the scrimmage.

Will UNT's New Baseball Stadium Look Similar To This
UNT Mean Green replied to PlummMeanGreen's topic in Mean Green Football
I would assume if baseball is privately funded (some of those in the loop are saying the entire thing will be funded with private money) then that should certainly allow for the AD to continue to focus on building out the remaining portions of their master plan, which also includes golf practice facility and an indoor facility I believe. -
How far up do YOU think we can move?
UNT Mean Green replied to 10Eagle10's topic in Mean Green Football
We should be able to be in the running with UH for sure. I wouldn't expect with Baylor being in the Big XII that we can get near them or Tech unless we have a few nationally recognized successful seasons that get us near a BCS bowl or something. Probably some ranking in the 60's would be realistic pending on the field success which leads to increased attendance, TV time, etc... -
Connor Wilson is a dang good athlete down at Argyle that hopefully will be wearing green one day!

WKU has a good all around program. With Petrino there, it would be fun to see them in C-USA. We have had some fun games with them in recent years.

Wouldn't mind having another QB honestly. Can't say it's the top priority but it certainly would not be a bad thing -
Speaking of wheels, Zed Evans was timed at 4.29 in the 40yd and Q. Brown at 4.58 as a D End...

Certainly don't disagree here. Mathis or McGuire would be excellent.

I'd bet that McKinney starts at Center and Manu at RT and the rest of the three (LT, LG, RG) look exactly the same as last year. Add Loving to the mix at TE to go along with Drew Miller, Tanner Smith, and Daniel Prior back from injury. Anyiam should be the "6th guy" in the OL rotation if one were guessing.

It looks like Sydrick (Syd) Moore will sign with UNT

The highlights are certainly impressiave and the Bellazin comparison is a good one here. Maybe he can be an undersized DT or a heavier DE? Looks like a good athlete with a great motor. Hope he qualifies. -
Interesting, but not surprising numbers
UNT Mean Green replied to unt_rocket09's topic in Mean Green Football
Very interesting; great work by Mr. Tepper. That certainly validated the run on first; throw on second; throw on third and 3 yards to go or more theory. I would bet the breakdown stays about the same with the run vs. pass this year; but factoring in Berglund runs and completions on routine throws and that will hopefully make a huge difference in offensive output. -
Wed. night FB notes (Jimmerson, Warner, big fall plans)
UNT Mean Green replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Jimmerson, Pegram, Byrd should be a pretty formidable trio of backs. I hope Jimmerson gets more opportunities inside the red zone with his ability to make guys miss. The one guy we will have carrying the football this year that should make a great enhancement to our running game is the QB. Just having him to tuck it and run it a few times a game on designed runs, having a true zone read, and having to account for him on pass plays should help loosen things up for the RB's.
