  1. I'd bet Mac will be on the sidelines until he's 66 or 67.
  2. 23,875 announced as 26,000ish
  3. 9-3 and hosting C-USA title game versus ECU at Apogee. Tulane runs out of luck and loses a road game and to Rice.
  4. Get the starters out. Short week to recover for biggest game this year on Thursday
  5. Thompson with the usual pick
  6. Good article, thanks for sharing Harry. I genuinely believe that we have one of the best program builders in the country in Coach McCarney.
  7. http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205238573 http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/college-sports/unt-mean-green/20130529-former-four-start-skyline-lb-anthony-wallace-likely-to-transfer-to-unt.ece
  8. Do you play the "wait and see" strategy with Brown, meaning trying to get through the last 7 games without him? You are losing Bellazin and McCoy this year and it would be nice to get 2 more years from Q. OR do you play him as soon as he's ready to go?
  9. Klein Collins must be struggling....they punt a lot!
  10. Anyone identify some recruiting visitors last night? There were a bunch of them there!
  11. Absolutely.
  12. I have to agree with you Rick. Take Georgia and Ball State (first half) out of it, which were two of the best offenses in the country at the time we played them, and this defense has been incredible. They will absolutely rock ball carriers and receivers and seem to be in good position to make plays the majority of the time. Keep it up!
  13. That. Is. Awesome. Nice exclamation point on the evening.
  14. I'm liking your thought process TFLF! Who's the "Bell Dozer" on this team? I'd vote for Chancellor to carry it too.
  15. Win ALL of the remaining home games and 2 of 3 on the road.
  16. On the Tulane highlight video it looks like 98 blocks out and 18 blocks down. Tulane rushed 2 guys at 98 and he chose the outside one; thus the inside guy has a free run through. Going back to Junior High FG protection...always block from the inside out! Perry has to be pulling his hair out
  17. Exactly. Look at it. Spot Ohio 7 points on a pick-6. Spot Tulane 14 points on a blocked FG and another pick-6. Unbelievable. 2-3 is a lot different than 4-1.
  18. Not sure that we are going to get many favorable calls in C-USA play with it being our first year in the league.
  19. This lack of a running game is a HUGE cause for concern. I am not sure the lack of ability to run the ball and control some of the clock against Ohio and Tulane didn't lead to defensive fatigue at the very end of the game when we needed a stop.
  20. We are a solid offense away from being a dang good football team. Watching college football these days, these wide open offenses are the ultimate equalizer. It's time for Mac to bring in a new, exciting coordinator for spring ball with 2 talented young QB's for 2014 and an slew of Offensive Lineman returning. Who are some potential candidates? My vote: Kendall Briles of Baylor Thoughts?
  21. Offensive schemes now a days have been proven to be the ultimate equalizer in terms if leveling the playing field of talent. Look...TCU and North Texas have the worst offenses of any relevant programs in the state. Chico is a good man but I cannot stand to watch any more of this crap where we are insane trying to run with 8 man boxes or trying to throw for 4 yards when we need 10 on third down. It's tiring and sickening and if we had ANY semblance of an offense this team is 4-1 easy
  22. These breakdowns are unbelievable! Every fan should read this prior to watching the game. Excellent stuff! There's definitely a storm bearing down on New Orleans...a Mean Green one! GMG...beat Tulane's !
  23. Will we see a stretch of QB's like Tettelton, Wenning, and Murray the rest of the season? You could tell some of the windows that Murray threw into, that he's used to a faster speed of game and tighter spaces in general in the SEC. The TD in the corner on Whitfield which was tipped and the TD throw the to TE that went through Akunne's hands were extremely impressive and I don't think we will see anything like that again.
  24. All of these articles talking about the dual threat...I don't think an SEC defense will be too worried about a 5.0 40yd dash QB. Their Nose Tackle who's 300+lbs probably runs that fast.
