It seems like at this stage in our program that the HOD against a mid range B10 team that would travel and that we have a good chance to beat would be best. BUT, it's all about perspective!

Akunne, Wallace, Marshall, Ellis, Minor be the LB rotation next year? Could be a physically imposing group if Marshall. Ellis,and Minor add some bulk in the next 9-10 months.

Exactly. McCarron DOESN'T turn the ball over; hence why Alabama wins all the big games. That's all we need from DT. Don't beat us with stupid turnovers on screen passes and late throws over the middle, and make a few big plays and third down conversions in the passing game.

It'll be fun to be in the hunt for the conference championship year in and year out!

That's the problem with the Liberty Bowl, you draw an SEC team. At this point in our program wouldn't we rather draw a Big 10 team and stay in Dallas?

Fox does a much better job than ESPN's diluted crews who cover mid majors. If it's not Musberger/Herbstreit, Millen/Tessatorie, or Blackledge/Brad Nessler then it tends to be a bad product. Fox came in enthused, did their homework and background research, and had an outstanding broadcast. Heck even the CBS broadcast at La Tech was better than the ESPN ones we have received in recent years. Thursday night's broadcast was near perfect.

Apogee was absolutely rocking last night. The students continue to be amazing, and give Coach Mac kudos for engaging them when they come for orientation each summer. Once you get them hooked and get them excited by having a nice product on the field, you'll have them hooked. Good stuff. It's all about leadership, and our football program couldn't be in better shape in that regard.

Godspeed to Reggie for a successful surgery and quick recovery so that he may have an awesome Senior year in 2014! Rollins is going to be fun to watch...he just has some growing up to do, but he's clearly very talented.

Great post. It may take a couple of games to get used to things, but they should be a good unit in 2014. Man, how do you not love the heck out of this defense?!? They are so much fun.

Folks from UCF were very disappointed to see him go. Not sure what happened with O'Leary and he (can only assume O'Learys ego got in the way) but man are we lucky to have him. The kids are bought in and play their tails off!

The Rice LT big #79 was completely overmatched by the speed and quickness of our ends and he literally held on 90% of snaps it was blatant and obvious and still not being called. Unreal!

What do ya'll think about putting together some funds for next season for Mean_Green09 to have a designated section on GoMeanGreen and be able to even enhance his stuff more graphically and what not?
