  1. heard that he had a poor attitude in spring ball.
  2. This may be his final straw...
  3. I would honestly throw what RV said out of the window in terms of priorities and capital projects. I'd bet we are all pleasantly surprised with the amount of progress made by the new AD in a short time; and I'd bet you that we will see an Indoor Facility announced in the near term.
  4. Guess would be that we pay the new AD around $350,000 base plus an incentive plan to get total compensation north of the $400,000 clip.
  5. Hopefully this may already be in the works and will be finalized when The new AD gets on board.
  6. Should matter given that one of our top boosters owns the airplane ...
  7. Thanks for finding this @Harry. Impressive young man! Looks like he would mesh very well with Littrell (as he must have with Fuente at Memphis and Odom at Mizzou), which I'm certain is a key prerequisite for this job as Ryan, President, and other leaders hold Littrell in high esteem. Seems to understand all aspects of Athletics, and a guy who would empower his people and coaches to do their jobs successfully.
  8. Impressive candidate. Possesses the characteristics that Ryan described.
  9. Very well put. It's a new era; a new line of thinking from the leadership of this university. Big picture, results-oriented from the top down. In terms of Athletics, It started with the Littrell hire and has progressed significantly into this summer with the audit and hire of the new AD. Things will continue to change for the best, and even if some of the "old guard" are skeptical, it'll work itself out for the betterment of the university, and more specifically, athletics will greatly improve.
  10. Surely Baker and Littrell know several of the same folks being similar Oklahomans around the same age...
  11. Currently on the DNC. Any word when the real program comes on?
  12. Where's that list(s) of the BBQ and Burger places from a while back?
  13. Between 2" - 4" short from being ideal height for P5. Probably a lot like Roderick Young (look out for him to blow up this year) in that IF he was taller, the offer sheet is too long to list.
  14. The department has been a disaster for several years, with the same leadership for 15+ of those. For a mere $20,000 to get two "independent consultants" to come in and conduct a department audit is a great concept, and a way to identify the major issues and priorities for the next leader of this department to correct. These two gentlemen know what success looks like, and they understand business. From a practical standpoint - It's very simple really - this department is a $35,000,000 / year business. Finding out where the opportunities are by talking with staff, coaches, fans, letterman is the only way to get the facts out on the table; and identify the key areas to address for the new leadership.
  15. No surprise here. Excellent news!
  16. Looks like a nice hire for one of the newly created positions on Littrell's staff. Baker was a successful QB at Abilene Christian and followed that by getting into coaching. http://www.acusports.com/mobile/staff.aspx?staff=194
  17. Keep an eye out for Devin O'Hara as well. Big kid who can really spin it. We have to hope that he can push Morris to the point where it makes both better. Have also heard that Mason Fine is an animal in summer workouts and can throw the heck out of it...
  18. Absolutely a bargain. We all need to remember that Kuehne is taking a ton of time away from his real job running his own business to conduct this work.
  19. Excellent news --- two talented dudes there!
  20. Most of these guys were worthless in terms of program contribution. Kirby is the only notable loss and Ezzard seemed to be a decent player in scrimmages (with no real chance to play on Saturdays).
  21. September 3
  22. Thanks Billy. All good...these juco guys should "show up" in August.
  23. Just prove them wrong! Every game on the schedule is winnable.
  24. Ohio's student attendance is absolutely outstanding, and they make a 20,000ish seat stadium rock.
  25. Keep your eyes peeled for numerous improvements in the near future and this upcoming fall school semester.
