  1. OL is probably the thinnest position group on the team, and he may not be a scheme fit in this new defense.
  2. Kid can really spin the ball! Good one to have on the depth chart for future seasons
  3. Nice work jayD. This is the same information that I have heard as well.
  4. This should sort itself all out in the near future.
  5. Maybe it's a transcript or academic matter that is in the hands of the previous junior college and not UNT?
  6. Anything above 75% is a great success...anxious to see who made it once they update the roster later today or in the morning.
  7. Good looking athlete right there ... Hearing that Baulkman and Turner may be more athletic than this...
  8. Love the increased social media output by the football department. This will be a fun camp to follow as a result!
  9. Definitely agree. If we can just contain Davis' scrambling, we should be fine.
  10. Believe that there's a required "acclamation period", where they are required to go shorts and helmets for a few days. Then graduate to shoulder pads and shorts and ultimately full pads. I would doubt we'd see too many full contact practices with this camp with such poor depth. Just simply cannot afford injuries.
  11. Some good linemen in the 2017 group!
  12. Yes, Trice and Patrick Cobbs could be great ambassadors for the program with roles in recruiting.
  13. Hope that DT keeps those play books thinner than what Chico's were.
  14. Don't forget Reffett is HEAVILY involved in game planning and calling the defense. This combo is tough to prepare for in a week's time, and could wreak havoc on opposing offenses.
  15. This is exactly what we need! What an excellent result from our university leaders to have guys like Baker leading the AD and Littrell leading football with his outstanding staff.
  16. So far, Baker checks all of the boxes for me. Appears to be a consummate leader who has a clear plan and path to success.
  17. This is a good move and demonstration of leadership by Littrell. Anyone who had trouble with the law in the offseason should be suspended in some form or fashion.
  18. Agreed. It's very clear that Baker is going to give coaches everything that they need to be successful. As much as we all want Benford gone, I do think that Baker will give him a "reasonable" amount of time to prove something (i.e. by Christmas / Semester break).
  19. The coaching staff may not have "honored" the commitment until he came to campus on Friday evening for camp?
  20. Wren was very impressive during the press conference, which seemed to be well attended (standing room only). He handles himself extremely well and is very good at answering questions. Excellent hire by the university, and exciting times ahead for Athletics!
  21. No question. Credit to the leadership of the university for this hire to parlay off the Littrell hire. Excellent stuff!
  22. Great news Raveon is "in"! Big addition to the Defensive Line
  23. Exactly. AD's and HFC's don't typically last more than 4-5 years as "up and comers".
  24. El Tiempo is incredible! always love Pappasitos, Mecsrdo Juarez, and La Hacienda as well...
  25. Suspend any of these guys arrested in the offseason for the season opener and set the precedent that if they do it again, they are gone. Plain and simple and move forward.
