  1. Absolutely. There were plenty of guys open. The QB just has to execute and the receiver catch it.
  2. This would be a great game to start with annually.
  3. It's time for Fine. After watching a few of the scrimmages and now this initial game, it's clearly evident that Fine is the best guy right now.
  4. Good perspective Rick. As I mentioned in another thread already, it was clearly obvious that Morris checked to the throw on 4th and 1. The call had come in as a run and he checked it due to what he saw up front.
  5. Very good content here. Only fault was misidentifying 23 for 22 (Ejiya) on the TFL on Davis.
  6. That 4th and one play was changed by Morris at the LoS. You could see it clear as day.
  7. Awesome. Thanks for posting!
  8. Much improved. Looks like they are working with the same footprint and just knocked down a couple of walls, put in new lockers, paint, new graphics, and new TVs. Nice improvement for sure, and I'd bet there's more to come!
  9. Let's tee it high, and Let It Fly!
  10. Good call Brett! We are going to beat the $hit out of SMUt!!!
  11. Great episode! Set the stage for a must follow series. Littrell is much more comfortable on camera now than he was when hired. Great to hear from booster (Lovelace) on the thoughts on Littrell and hear from the staff about changing the culture. Kenny and Alec were funny. They should have given tickets away to the students who said they aren't attending...
  12. Prediction: actual tickets sold will be 18,500 and announced attendance will be 24,500
  13. Nice article Brett. Hood was a huge (no pun intended) pickup for this staff. LeBlanc does an awesome job with these defensive lineman. I have a hunch this may be the best position group once the season is all said and done...
  14. Ashton, thanks for all that you do for the university. Can't wait to watch the first episode and the season! What a great year for a show with all of the amazing changes happening with Athletics and football!
  15. Absolutely the case. Defense came to play, and we got great field position to start the game. Mac followed with run up the gut, run up the gut, incomplete, and Field Goal. How deflating to start with. The defense wore down as they were on the field the entire game and were chasing Matt Davis all over the place. McNulty played horrific, and we had trouble running the ball, yet were still in the game! I would bet anything that I have that this coaching staff will not start off in an opportune position like last years game and try to run the fullback through the 2 hole two plays in a row.... We could (and SHOULD) have stepped on their neck right then and there.
  16. Great find! Assuming this is near the new team meeting room, the renovated coaches offices, or the renovated locker room?
  17. @UNTLifer Thank you for doing the homework on these commits.
  18. Absolutely. There's no doubt that we are in a totally different era with Wren.
  19. This is a great sign. Top leadership paying attention to the details and supplying timely customer service.
  20. Someone has to call the game.
  21. Those lineman back when Leach (and Littrell, Mainord, Davis, etc.) were at Texas Tech were massive and played with enormous splits.
  22. Passing Yards - Alec Morris (sets the school record for Total Season) Rushing Yards - Anthony Wyche Rushing TD's - Jeffrey Wilson Receptions - Kelvin Smith Receiving Yards - O'Keeron Rutherford Tackles - Courtney Finney Sacks - Josh Wheeler TFL - Rod Young Interceptions - Eric Jenkins
  23. This makes sense.
  24. Good stuff. Shows the big picture organizational clean up that Wren will bring in; instead of having 100 "Associate ADs". Has there ever been a CFO in Athletics? Seems like a good practical idea!
  25. Thought that Dillman was injured?
