  1. In the next few seasons, our offense will begin to resemble WKU and La Tech's under this staff.
  2. LT would hammer DeSoto. Enough athletes, much better coached and disciplined.
  3. Maybe at North Texas?
  4. I'd take their starting offense over ours.
  5. Exactly. This kid is a good pickup. Tough, smart, athletic.
  6. We've been recruiting this kid heavily. Fingers crossed!
  7. Would you please explain this opinion further?
  8. Good point. Particularly if this staff continues the pattern of blue-shirting.
  9. That investment the Giants made toward defensive personnel (Vernon & Harrison up front, Sheppard and Robinson at LB, Jenkins and Apple in the secondary) in the offseason seems to be paying dividends. Jenkins locked Dez down, Harrison wreaked havoc up front.
  10. Good point, and the short answer is most definitely they have been in the local high schools and in their recruiting target(s) homes, etc.
  11. Be careful placing too much emphasis on offer lists" right now, as it's a very fluid time in recruiting with daily changes.
  12. No, we sold around 8,000 tickets. The majority of the North Texas fans at the game purchased tickets via avenues outside of the university.
  13. The face value of the tickets are actually $50.00. Donations have enabled the value of student tickets to only be $20.00.
  14. No, these two guys appear to be the next Kenneth Dixon, Bennie Cunningham, or Alfred Morris from CUSA.
  15. Here are a few big time kids that I'd bet we are actively recruiting: DeAndre McNeal WR Fullerton College (Mesquite Poteet - Texas) http://www.hudl.com/profile/8263169/deandre-mcneal High School Recruitment Jalen Guyton WR Trinity Valley (Allen - Notre Dame) http://www.hudl.com/profile/7737772/jalen-guyton High School Recruitment Sammy Benard OT NEO A&M http://www.hudl.com/profile/5410928/sammy-benard
  16. That makes sense. It just seems like a strange fit, but we will see what he can do. I did hear that Baylor was throwing around some crazy compensation numbers (in the league with what Texas on Tom Herman). That would make sense... and be a great hire for Tech. Sonny seems like such a "fish out of water" in Berkley, CA.
  17. I don't understand this logic entirely. Temple was winning 8 - 9 games annually under Al Golden. Addazio went 9-4 in 2011 followed by 4-7 in 2012. When Rhule took over in 2013, they went 2-10 and then he went 6-6 in 2014. Not discrediting the job that Rhule has done to turn around his record from 2013 and 2014, but Temple did not have a recent history of losing with regularity until Rhule got there. Just one person's opinion, but this seems like a very strange hire for Baylor. The names "linked" to the job earlier (for whatever that is worth) like Anderson, Dykes, and Fedora make a heck of a lot more logical sense than this guy...
  18. Rick - on what basis?
  19. End Zone Club looks like a fun "all-inclusive" party area in the north end zone.
  20. Does Army have a reasonable chance against Navy now? They did beat Temple earlier in the season...
  21. Yes it is. We won't have these issues when our program reaches that sustained level of success.
