If possible, I would like to play but $1000 per participant is a bit pricy for me. -

That book was one of three that the article highlighted. My wife has BA in Communication and MA in Communication, her thesis was published in the Journal of Applied Communication Research, and she received a national award for the top published article in the field of linguistics. My son has a BA in History, and he is a teacher. I am not talking about traditional liberal arts degrees like English, Political Science, History, etc.

The article mentioned as an example: Some discarded books included "Nine and Counting: The Women of the Senate", This book was written by Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson in 2000. I have a signed copy at home and have great respect for Kay and I have spoken with her on many occasions. Nonetheless, the book falls under your outdated designation. I could go on but will simply state that the con artists are far left so called progressives who waste taxpayer's money promoting useless degree programs.

Have you been in the UNT Library lately? About 6 months ago I walked into the library to check it out since I had not been there (the library) in many years. There are social floors and non-social floors and some glass enclosed study areas but there are no books and certainly no card catalog. The only shelves I saw for books were on the top floor for music students (I think mostly archived stuff).

That begs the question, "What teams will be in the P4's or P3's in 5 to 7 years?". Do you think the Wake Forests of the world (just one example) will make the final cut?

The trip to UTA is about the only opportunity most of us have to travel to an away game. It is one series I hoped to continue. Of course, I would like to play SMU and TCU every year but I don't think that is going to happen.

Alleged offense occurred 4 months ago. Arrest was in August. FYI the statute of limitations on a misdemeanor in Texas is 2 years.

All 3 are transfers and actual date of alleged offense is April 4. Article reports it as a Class A misdemeanor (likely a habitation). I won't mention the names.

Who would be on UNT's Mount Rushmore?

If this is for all sports, then Don January (4x NCAA Division 1 Golf Champion), Joe Greene, and Abner Haynes are the first 3. After that we should consider Odis Mitchell (responsible for Greene and Haynes coming to UNT), Booger Kennedy (played on a team that actually won a bowl game and made at least one All American Team), Javian Hamlet (conference player and athlete of the year who actually led us to first NCAA Tournament victory). Never a coach that spent less than 20+ years at North Texas.- 38 replies

We messed up years ago when we had the opportunity to buy Texas Wesleyan Law School for $6million (TCU passed on the opportunity as well). It was fully accredited with a building in downtown Fort Worth and unlike the UNT Dallas law school it would have been affiliated with the main campus. After we did not jump at that opportunity A&M contacted Tx Wesleyan and bought the school (somehow the school has gone from being unranked by USNWR to the 26th best law school in the nation and 2nd ranked in Texas) giving them land in Ft. Worth upon which they could expand. They are currently expanding their campus and are planning on putting a lot of money into research and other programs there. They are going to be the dominate force in higher education in Fort Worth among public schools.

Read it again. It says 10000% committed. That is 10X more committed than your "kiss of death".

If everyone who complained about an event on Tuesday night shows up at the Gala on a Friday night that event should be SRO.
