He previously served as the Texas Tech running backs coach, therefore he has to be a candidate.

Saban canned Applewhite after one year as oc. Meacham is the only acceptable option of the 3 listed.

He was at UNT when I was attending. He is a good guy but he never advanced beyond a position coach after 16 years at UT. Although like Mac he has a National Championship ring he can flash.

He declined an interview with Tulsa last year.

It appears that if you were involved in 19th century American politics you would be a member of the Know Nothing Party.

I enjoy watching Combs far more than I ever enjoyed watching Mitchell. He is 100% hustle.

In 2006 we beat Jarvis by 24 points and went on to the NCAA tournament. We beat Belhaven the next game. That season started off with a win against Cameron. Benford may be using Johnny's scheduling philosophy to lead us to a big season.

A walk on can be very beneficial in practice. Especially if he has height.

Art Briles was the Texas Tech running back coach from 2000-2003 prior to being hired as the Head Coach at Houston in 2003. He was never an Asst. Head Coach. He and Jinks have very similar backgrounds. He is certainly a Coach that should be considered. Also, Briles had no College coaching experience before going to Tech.

An acquaintance told me today that he attended the game last night. His first UNT game. A family member had been wanting to go to a game for some time and talked him and another into going last night. He has degrees from two P5 schools (one SEC and one PAC 12). His comments included the following "the QB was talented", "the stadium was really nice", "I had a good time", and "when my schedule works out I will be back".

I hope "The Pirate" makes you eat your words. -
Glad to hear he has the job. My seats were by his family's seats at games. Real nice folks. I know his wife would very much like to return home to Colorado. Hopefully they will be able to do so in the future.

He has family issues he needs to attend to and you think this is good? Or are you saying it is good that he got his degree? -
My tickets were delivered to my house by a member of the Athletic Department along with a complimentary box of Omaha Steaks while the Green Brigade played the fight song in my front yard, or perhaps I picked them up at the ticket office on Friday. However I got mine, I do know tickets were in the process of being mailed on Friday.

I have my season tickets in hand. I am glad they included my parking pass for the CUSA Championship Game, it is one less detail I will have to take care of before the December 5 game at Apogee..

Mark Cuban- College Bball Hurting the NBA
MCMLXXX replied to UNTcrazy727's topic in Mean Green Basketball
To me the NBA is like professional wrestling. It is predictable, boring, and big on "showmanship". -
I edited the numbers. I originally copied from the wrong column. The valuation was based upon "program revenue and expenses...cash flow adjustments...risk assessments...and growth projections." Louisville was no 1 by far.
