  1. Sebastian tied for 29th. Carlos tied for 66th. Season over.
  2. Sebastian now tied for 10th at -9. Carlos dropped to a tie for 52nd at -2.
  3. What if we beat SMU both times, then would it be okay?
  4. Sebastian at -5 tied for 7th. Carlos at -4 tied for 19th. https://www.espn.com/golf/leaderboard
  5. So you think instead of "singing Glory to the Green, singing Glory to the White" we should be "singing Glory to the Green, singing Glory to the" Green? That doesn't rhyme with "right".
  6. Both advance to BMW Championship. Carlos ranked 38th and Sebastian 59th out of a total of 70. https://www.golfdigest.com/story/top-70-fedex-cup-2021 Top 30 after BMW will advance to Tour Championship.

  8. Read subchapter G. https://statutes.capitol.texas.gov/Docs/ED/htm/ED.62.htm#62.123 Read the Legislative Report National Research University Fund Eligibility (texas.gov) Some of the stats compared to UTSA are embarrassing. Tell me where you can get a guaranteed $6.1 Million return on a $90 Million investment(over two years)? The fund pays yearly after you qualify. This board is giddy over far lesser sums and donations (ex $20 million total paid out over years). Sec. 62.148. DISTRIBUTION OF APPROPRIATED FUNDS TO ELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS. (a) In each state fiscal year, the comptroller shall distribute to eligible institutions in accordance with this section money appropriated from the fund for that fiscal year. This is a big deal. Every President and BOR of these 8 institutions knows so.
  9. You did not read the article. This is not Carneigie Tier One. We are losing out on State Research Funds. We are behind Texas Tech, UH, UTA, UTD, UTSA, and UTEP. Tied for last with Texas State. UT and A%M are not in competition with the 8 named institutions. This is ranking the best of the rest in the State of Texas.
  10. We are lagging behind. UTSA is on track to be the next. Smatresk and every useless Chancellor we have had should explain why! The University of Texas at El Paso spent more than $45 million on research in 2019 and 2020, but met just one of the other four necessary criteria to qualify. It does not have the potential to reach those criteria in 2021. Texas State University and the University of North Texas did not meet the research spending threshold in 2020, and neither are on track to reach it in 2021 either, the report stated. 11. Don't get to exited. It is an exhibition and not a competition. Please no wagering.
  12. Perhaps she wants to change it to: "Come and buy a Bucket of Chicken and get free game tickets"

  16. He could still be growing, like Rodman, and that could be a bonus.
  17. Ann Richards was not involved. She found it amusing that anyone thought she cared. The 3 most important politicians involved were Lt. Gov. Bob Bullock and State Senators David Sibley and John Montford. Montford a UT graduate represented Lubbock and would later go on to be Chancellor of Texas Tech. Sibley represented Waco and was a Baylor alum. Bullock had a BA from Tech and Law Degree from Baylor.
  18. Ortiz is enjoying his Olympic experience. Some nice quotes. https://www.espn.com/olympics/story/_/id/31918300/xander-schauffele-big-finish-1-shot-lead-olympic-golf
  19. Okie State and Kansas to B10 a possibility. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/big-ten-fans-react-to-the-latest-expansion-rumors/ar-AAMxT95?ocid=msedgntp

  21. It is not on the agenda for the special session so it cannot be considered unless the Governor expands the agenda. The Governor won't expand the session, he is a UT graduate and would veto the bill even if they could, and the ink could be dry on the agreement before the law would take affect. https://www.lrl.texas.gov/sessions/specialSessions/FAQ.cfm This is being done so they can tell their constituents that they tried. This would also give Privates like TCU, SMU, etc. an incredible advantage since they are not State affiliated. This would require North Texas to get legislative approval to leave a conference and we would have to wait until the regular session which occurs every two years and lasts about 5 and 1/2 months.
  22. This is the link I posted on the other thread. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/tcu-might-survive-realignment-but-college-football-as-we-know-it-might-not/ar-AAMuf9l?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531
  23. Is it an offer they can't refuse? Is there a horsehead involved? I think this has already been covered in other threads.
  24. Perspective of a TCU fan. TCU might survive realignment, but college football — as we know it — might not. (msn.com)
