MAYBE...Littrell has done his player evaluations with Harrell and feels that one or more of the three left will do a good job of backing up Morris without him having to throw Fine to the wolves. We'll know after the Spring Game when we see what his offense asks the QB to do, IMO. I don't get it either. Smatty is, by all accounts, a very savvy guy. How can he continue to put up with the incompetence in the athletic department? I give him credit for knowing that this reflects poorly on his executive abilities.

This is a valid concern due to off-the-court issues. There is no denying his demonstrated athletic capabilities would carry a lot of the load for us...the danger is that he won't be allowed to participate. I'm not familiar with the other prospective additions; are any of them "story" players?
