  1. From your lips to God's ears!
  2. I'm a man of my word, Joe. My position was one of the above; my four season tickets and MGC membership have been renewed. I have to support Seth in his efforts because I think he and the staff he has assembled will ultimately improve the situation greatly. Sadly, I was prepared to walk away this year if RV was still involved.
  3. For your sakes, I hope the new sheriff doesn't re-write all of the rules, like the one they had at Texas that pissed so many people off and drove people away from the program.
  4. Personally, I am more inclined to advocate for a hire from a "big" school, assuming he is well rounded (has hired coaches, built facilities, negotiated contracts and promoted the program). My perception of RV has been for some time that the job just outgrew him. You run that risk going "small" school hire, IMO.
  5. This about sums it up! Gonna re-up. Thank you, Jesus!
  6. I'm a Glock guy, 17 in the house and 19 inside the waistband. Easy to take down and clean, manageable recoil gets you back on target, and plenty of rounds in those 9mm double stack magazines.
  7. I'll third it! Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville is hard to beat. Prices for all things are competitive, they have a good selection of rentals and a good schedule of CLASSES taught by competent instructors. Again, think through what your objective is before you think about a specific type of gun. They have a website...check it out. No, I have no connection to Eagle other than I patronize it from time to time to keep my technique and shooting eye sharp. It was recommended to me by a LEO and his advice was spot on. That aside, I like the name! P.S. Here is a link to Eagle's Rental Gun list, FYI: http://www.eaglegunrangetx.com/about-lewisville-based-eagle-gun-range/rental-guns/
  8. I can see this up there on the Jerryworld massive video screens during a timeout:
  9. Bein is on UVerse at 662 (SD) and 1662 (HD) but for me they show I'm not subscribed. I guess I need a bigger package...story of my life.
  10. Finish the story. He bottled it and sold it as a magic elixir from the back of a Lexus. The label says its "Hattiesburg Heaven".
  11. Time for tailgating before the UNT game kicks off!
  12. Oozing = Pus from a lingering fifteen-year infection. Maybe Littrell brought some hydrogen peroxide with him.
  13. Madison is a little strange...for me it was in a good kind of way. While attending a week-long seminar there many years ago, I was able to drink pretty cheap because I was from Texas. They had tequila behind the bar and the bartender said that nobody ever drank it. He told me they would pour it if I would drink it because they wanted to see what it did to a human being. Also, I was able to see "Behind The Green Door" really cheap at a screening held at the social science building on campus. They had posters around on light poles advertising it; the showing was part of a program they called "Dirty Ed". TRUTH! A trip to Madison would be fun for those who have never been there.
  14. An anonymous source told me that RV has been talking up adding an equestrian program, with the argument that it would generate deposits...UNFORTUNATELY, they are NOT BANKABLE!
  15. Yeah, yeah, yeah...good on Wacky. Not MY fault, not MY problem, etc.
  16. How much longer until hockey starts? I think I can now predict that the next game will be in October.
  17. Hump Day Showdown! Very appropriate that Wednesday is the decider. At least they got it back to home ice. Go Stars!
  18. Well, that was another "awshit" performance. No room for error now, Stars have to win on the road Monday. Seems like they can't stand prosperity.
