    The only reason that I'm fixated on Seattle right now is that they are closest to us. Until Houston makes their run, I'll continue to hope we keep pushing that boundary with Seattle out as far as we can. 8 1/2 games is nice, 9 1/2 would be better. Go Rangers!

    Well, we almost couldn't stand prosperity...but, THE RANGERS SWEEP!! The results of this series were beyond my expectations. An added bonus was we put another game on those Seattle bitches. Shiners for everyone!

    I hear you. I think this is a balls-to-the-wall strategy to produce a winner ASAP. It is a gamble. IMO, we will return to the conventional, long-term approach starting with the next recruiting class. I think we will always be in the market for quality JUCOs to fill immediate needs but the number per class should taper off starting next year. JMHO.

    This is not an attempt to derail this thread, just a related and IMO a relevant question. What is the traffic flow around the stadium area going to be like when September gets here? I haven't been to Denton since the spring game and it was a real cluster-f___ at that time. I went to Lewisville from Dallas on 35 last weekend and IT is a total mess as well; I messed up and ended up going to Lake Dallas before I could turn around. I think this will impact our attendance this fall if there is not substantial improvement by then. An update from a Dentonite would be appreciated.

    Not to mention taking the oath, wearing the uniform, and fighting in hellholes around the world to protect those kids from evil and secure for them a better life. At some point, they must pick up the reins and help pull the wagon.

    YES!! We beat the "Martinez Curse" and also added a game to our lead over those Seattle bitches. What's not to like? I think I'll have a couple Shiners.

    That would be nice...but if we can field a defense that takes no prisoners and consistently dominates opponents, I'll take that. I have confidence that Seth, Graham, et al, can take the offensive parts we already have and get them to consistently double (perhaps even more) last year's points output.
