    Thanks for the link. As luck would have it, I have to travel each segment they mention in their update, unless I want to try the Tollway to 380 and attempt a rear entry. I think I am going to make a practice run about the last weekend of August, just to scope it out.

    Harry, do you or others know the expected situation on September 3? I have conducted recon only as far north as Lake Dallas in recent months. The last time I was in Denton I remember that it was a major clusterf. I have looked at the AD's parking map but that doesn't seem to account for the current mess.

    Interesting situation re: his eligibility. A lot of things that we don't know yet. If this is his first college enrollment, does he get 5 to play 4? Based on the weight number I saw in one of the links, he will need some time in the weight room to bulk up some...especially if he gets a shot at safety. JMO.

    The Aaazzzzz put up a fight but laid down in the end. The Angles did us a solid and slopped the Marinaras. The ASStros showed theirs again. We are not out of the woods yet, with 41 games left, but I like where we are. Update: Well, the ASStros took it in the this afternoon. Now on to this evening, take care of the Aaazzzzz with the broom, and hope the Angles have another win over those saucy Marinaras.

    I think it is commendable in this "me..me..me" time that there are young minds out there who feel their calling is to serve man.

    I caught myself thinking "Here we go again!" until Beltre cleared the bases. Hopefully, this will get us going on a little run. The Marinaras keep coming up with wins but at least they won't gain any ground on us tonight.

    I agree. I just think we need to demonstrate we finally have our shit together by either kicking ass where we are or in a marginally higher conference FIRST. Then we wouldn't be the red-headed stepchild when we knock on the SEC's door.

    It was great to get that one in last night. I hope the weather cooperates this weekend so as not to break our momentum. The ASStros have been on a little roll so it is nice to win when they do to keep them from gaining ground. The Marinaras fell in their spaghetti so we got back a game from them. I see they have gone 8 -2 over the last 10 games so we can hope they cool off a little. Go Rangers!!

    No excuses from me, I'll be in Denton. I was being analytical, not looking for excuses. You are going to hear plenty of excuses around 10/1 and 10/8 from the usual sources. Perhaps things will be different this year.

    You may want to do a slight recalculation. MUTS is the same day as PV vs. Grambling in the Cotton Bowl at the State Fair. Worse for us, Marshall, who I think might be the biggest draw this year, is the same day as UT vs. OU at the State Fair. I think both times are still TBA, but that should adversely impact our gate.

    Yippeee! I drew a long straw!! My tickets and parking pass for each game showed up in my box today. Yes, all four, in the same section and row, and the proper four consecutive numbers. The only shoe left to drop would be whether or not my seatbacks are in place by September 3. I will have experienced a perfect interface with the athletic department if that last piece falls into place.
