Our defense has been hammered the last two weeks...and boy are they pissed! Those guys are good and they have pride. They will show up and slow the opposition down. This! It is coming up on four years since the last time I set foot in the Super Pit; the next time will be the new coach's first game, whenever that is. I did waste a total of about 45 minutes last night watching rec center rat ball. My only consolation is that I remind myself that Smatty knows what good basketball looks like from his tenure at UNLV and TheWren knows good basketball and has coached. I have to believe...must believe...that they will fix this problem as soon as they are able. I look for that to be after the NCAA tournament in March, 2017. Until then, it doesn't do me any good to rant. JMHO.

I usually try to get to the Blue Lot at least 2 1/2 hours before kickoff. Even when I'm running later, there seem to be lots of handicapped spots still available around Victory Hall. I don't use one, I'm just careful not to park in one. If that is pushing the endurance limits, take greenjoe's advice above. JMHO.

I give TheWren credit for being a good basketball man, based on his resume. Football is nearly finished for this year and I expect that he will focus on basketball and implement fixes / changes in the near future. For all I know, he may have already issued orders.

FYI, U-Verse gives the message that indicates the pre-game and the game itself cannot be recorded. Ditto with soccer, which is not a local event. It must have something to do with the size of my package. I have U-Verse package envy! I will attend the game, of course, but it is always nice to record for review.

I was watching OAN (One America News) on cable today and was gratified that they did a full news report on this incident. Not very good pub for SMUt. U-Verse 1208.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the Littrell presser on meangreensports to run? The other videos load and play just fine. On Littrell's, I get the commercial and his video loads, with arrow, but it will not start. When I try, I get a black screen and a message in white letters from meangreensports saying, essentially "Sorry about that!".

This is Homecoming...great weather forecast, good crowd to support the team. Our team is pissed because they did not play up to their potential last week, while the Dogs are fat, dumb and happy coming into this game. I am going to go against all the conventional indicators for this game. UNT will score at least once in all three phases of the game. They will start fast this week for a change. This has the potential to be a shootout. At the end of the day, I say: Mean Green 41 Dogs 38 Pray For A Miracle!

No info, just speculation...it is not uncommon for quarterbacks to whack their hands on opponents' helmets on the followthrough while passing. That is the first thing I thought of when this observation was made.
