In case some are not aware, Army is working on a good season, being 6 - 2 at this time. They have Air Force and Duke before they come here, so at kickoff they could be 8 - 2. They finish the season with Navy after us. People who follow Army or people who just want to see some good football will be interested in the game. If the weather is decent, I suspect we might have at least a chopper flyover and perhaps the game ball will be delivered by paratrooper. No inside information, just speculation on my part based on past history. This game will be well attended...mark it down!

Have not yet seen an announcement, but I would expect so. There is a good tailgate area there, if you haven't been. I've done Sam's Town a few times...good choice.

Attendance was embarrassing and underwhelming. I haven't seen an official number but this looked and felt like the worst this year.

I got to the car in time to hear part of SL's post-game radio interview. He said Wilson was banged up coming into the game, aggravated it early, went to the locker room for more padding, but it was still a problem when he tried to go. It sounded like the fumbling was the icing on the cake.

Congrats to BTG. The episode was well done and as inspiring as it could have been under the circumstances. I will be sure to call if I ever need advice on how to polish a turd.

I don't have time to research the thousands of crimes, nor am I inclined to do so. I did a quick search and grabbed an article from September citing 2,139. If those slime have behaved themselves for a month, we're only up to 2,140. I don't think a large percentage of them are thugs, and have some sympathy for those who are now students and behaving themselves. After three quarters, it was NT 14, Iowa 17. We played them tooth and nail for three quarters and didn't wilt until Iowa scored the first of two fourth quarter touchdowns with 8:19 left in the game. The outlook is even better than you portray, IMO.

If the TRUE intent is to ban bumpstocks, then pass a law that clearly and specifically bans bumpstocks. Period. The problem is that it will solve nothing. Some sick SOB will find a way to accomplish the same result using a coat hanger. The people who intend to do evil will always find a way.
