Time to staff up. I've heard there's a German exchange student that would be glad to stand behind the counter. I think her name is Ima Glock, if you want to employ her.

This is great! I got a chance to pass it on (rub it in?) in a conversation with a ULM alum yesterday. He responded with a teasing remark about free throws. I'm afraid to research that statistic...don't want to think about it.

Aye, that is the rub. You will notice that I qualified the phrase. I was thinking along the lines of working, being productive and self-reliant, and accepted by your peers...that sort of thing. Since I have been on this earth since 1945, my definition may differ from that of my children or someone else.

My thought is that this just postpones by four or five years the time when these students will have to learn to assimilate into what passes today for "normal society". I think it is more of a disservice than an accommodation for these folks. Time will tell. JMHO.

Great win! We're on track to win this thing. We must fix that 3-point shooting percentage to keep USF honest and I think that trophy will stay in Denton.

Five years of total crap...then this season. Win tonight and Friday! We would then finish with a 20-win season and a (albeit minor) tournament championship. I would say those would be big accomplishments, ranking up there among this program's best moments. It can't happen without a win tonight...so yeah this game is pretty big.

I found myself thinking the same thing. His agent is (hopefully) only keeping him visible and talked about in football circles in the "off season", while Littrell will showcase his coaching talents during the fall. In my heart I want that to be at North Texas for many falls to come.

Sorry, but after Monday's letdown it is going to take me a little time to get back in the mood...

I am at a loss to describe how I feel about this performance...but a picture is worth a thousand words:

Only reason I can think of that we're not defending the three-point shots...are we worried more about their inside game? Are we counting on my Daddy's old saying about the dog that shits fast?

This is a real shocker. I remember when many here wanted him to replace Benford. Cross and staff will land on their feet. The guy is a winner.

My online UVerse schedule is screwed up. It still shows the game airing 7:30 - 9:30, then high school basketball. I thought they would update their schedule by now...apparently not. If the game is on ESPNU it will be Ch. 1605 (HD) or if you want SD, 605. I hope they don't blow it completely.

As far as I know, most Good Friday worship centers around the period from Noon to 3:00 p.m.. Friday is also a "twofer" this year because of the way the calendars align, so our Jewish friends will be celebrating the first night of Passover. Another reason to wrap it up on Wednesday night!
