If I remember correctly, the word was out about Mac's termination at tailgating. I don't recall if it was before or after the Mean Green March, but I'm tempted to say it was right after they passed by.

My comment was the fond remembrance of an old one-liner from one of the Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts albums. Those who are not 73 probably don't remember them. So Dickens, the 7-footer, is transferring to ODU from Providence. I wondered why until an unnamed source told me that his girlfriend attends ODU...Dickens is simply nuts over her.

Looks like another great commit. I imagine it was a hard decision for his father and probably Asher too. I would not be surprised if his dad didn't help him in the evaluation process and ultimately steer him in our direction, given the status of the two programs at this time. What Asher is interested in pursuing, degree-wise, may have been a factor too. The foregoing is just total speculation on my part but there is NO doubt that he will be a quality addition for us. WELCOME ABOARD, ASHER!!
