    I'd swear I read something on here a while back, or saw an artist's rendering, that gave the impression the endzones WOULD be lime green.

    The Italian fans didn't take that outcome too well! Some were chanting vulgar things, making hand gestures, and turning on their own team. One guy shouted "Stella Azzurra my ass, you are Stella Merda!".

    Think back, back, back into time. You are a kid in Indiana watching WGN-TV, Channel 9, Chicago on a new black and white TV. Your grandparents like watching wrestling and their favorite wrestler was Gorgeous George. Times have changed! 🙂 AND THEN...there was THIS guy. Less show and more real wrestler.

    Compare that look to MGNation92's signature video endzone look. I think I can learn to love it. It did occur to me that close goal-line plays should be easier to call (i.e., did the nose of the ball cross the plane, etc.) and easier to spot on replays. JMO.

    My gameday shoe is black Nike with green soles and green swoosh. I added green shoelaces to be more emphatic in my statement. They have a couple years on them, so YES, I would buy a new pair if they were as good or better than my mainstays.

    U-Verse, 47 and 1047 (HD) if you are going to DVR. I checked the channels on my service and they are hot. Did not look at the schedule for September 1 to see if it already shows.

    Yes. Yes it is. But it does serve some utilitarian purposes. For example, suppose Peruna should go down with an injury. Underneath there is a series of rooms. One of them houses a backup for Peruna, available on a moment's notice, in the event there is a problem. Here is a practice drill:

    I was under the impression, from earlier reading this Spring, that the endzones were going to be a different shade (like Matt's Flying Worm logo). Maybe they had production issues, or deadline issues, or both. No info, just speculating.
