I'm getting riled up for gameday, and wanted to use the old "What comes out of...Rice!" chant. This is a new, sensitive and politically-correct era and so I did not want to even SAY it so as not to offend our good friends from China and Rice. I did some research on wiki and found that Eagles do prey on Owls. Therefore, I propose a chant that will not offend: WHAT COMES OUT OF AN EAGLE'S ASS ??? OWLS! OWLS! OWLS!

I know where you are coming from (coachspeak) but in this particular instance I would have to say those are genuine sentiments.

My adopted player, Hilbert Jackson, did get torched twice but in his defense he was in good position. I too was screaming for him to get his hands up as that ball came in, but on TV it was clear to me that there was really nothing much he could have done short of interference. Their QB threw a perfect ball on the receiver's outside and away from Hilbert. RE: the earlier TD catch, Kansas City just ran the same damn play on the Cowboys and scored. Hilbert played it exactly the same as the Cowboy corner, with the same result. This is not the adopted player thread but overall my man played a good game and delivered the pain with the rest of his Mean Green Defense brothers.

After the game, dinner out, drive home and shower, me and Eaglette popped the top on a Shiner Oktoberfest and watched the game again. We couldn't wait until this morning to hear Baldinger eat his words from the first half.

I have two extra seats for Saturday's game with Balls Taste. Sec 207, Row4, Seats 7 & 8 with chairbacks. This is between 45 - 50 yard lines. PM me please. I do not want these to go to waste.

My pre-season prediction is intact after two games. I did predict a win over BallsTaste and I think our men will rise to the challenge. GMG

My adopted player is #6, Hilbert Jackson. Hilbert laid some licks and was officially credited for two tackles and an assist. He did have one mistake that was obvious but overall had a solid game. Rest, hydrate, and get ready to tear up some Bobcat ass next week. GMG !!

I have three seats available for tomorrow - Sec 207, Row 4, Seats 6 - 8 with chairbacks. Located approximately 47-yard line, in the shade. Two friends who normally attend with me have to work Saturday night and another one still recovering from recent pacemaker implant and not able to deal with the heat.

I just sent my SWAG to Brett. I went with 6 - 6, after taking into account everything I think I know at this point about the upcoming season. Wanted to be more optimistic like last year but I got scorched in the end by coming up three wins short. Protecting my rear this year so it doesn't get scorched again.

I will be there with Eaglette. I went the last time we played there (2005 ?) and the tailgating is good. I got there pulling a cooler up a steep-ass hill, there must be a better way. Will lay up in Shreveport, as usual for games in Louisiana.
