Channel 8 Sports tonight reported our beating by the MUTS and our dismal record, then quoted Vito's report re: Briles' resume being submitted. Comment was something to the effect that help was possibly on the way.

Well...I could easily be pleased to hear his name be called on November 30. By RV...not so much.

I would like to believe in 8 - 4 and bowl-eligible on a regular basis but 10-loss seasons happen here. Therefore, I have a contingency plan. Likewise, I don't want to think that the shtf scenario will ever play out in my remaining years...but, as a contingency plan, I am prepared for the day when lead will be more valuable than gold. Well, if it doesn't conflict with Notre Dame's game there might be a few folks in South Bend, IN who would watch. My goober relatives would watch two goldfish get it on.

You are correct, sir! Apple pies are way more slutty than cheesecakes. Also, its hard to find a .gif of a cheesecake being molested on short notice. I still have my Mean Green Club black poncho/stadium blanket in my carry bag. Quite appropriate for November 28, actually.

I hope this forecast doesn't hold because it makes it too easy to say "F@#k it! Let's finish off the leftovers and find a significant game on the tube.". Of course, I did get my pneumonia shot this year so I'll probably be one of the 300. That would be symbolic. Thanks RV.

If you noticed his spread, it was only 16 points. He's coming around. Having said that, we will lose. Not like LA Tech...but we will lose. Maybe only 10 points if we can muster some offense. This is unofficial, I have not consulted my crystal ball yet for my final prognostication.

Regarding yesterday's discussion of Danny White in another thread, I found this excerpt from Harry's link above to be interesting: "UCF: New athletic director Danny White’s agreement is 5 years with “annual guaranteed compensation” of $525,000, “supplemental compensation…as determined by the President” of $50,000 and another $50,000 contributed annually to a deferred compensation plan that he gets if he stays 5 years. If White leaves for another job in the first three years, he would owe UCF $1,050,000. UCF will pay the buyout to Buffalo. In a somewhat comical note, UCF said they “don’t believe” White ever applied for the position." Some people in Florida don't seem to be concerned that he is so young!
