If the O-Line can't make enough space for Nic to pick up a yard, they have something in common with THIS guy... they suck!

I just checked the Birmingham forecast and radar. It looks like the last of the rain is passing through or has just passed by. That leaves four or five hours for the field to drain and surface to dry a little. SWAG, field conditions better than last week's game.

Since the forecast showed earlier today that it may be wet in Birmingham right up to gametime, maybe the practice in the rain is a strategic advantage.

Voted. Mason Fine is the Chief! 14,388 (57%) at this writing, up 467 votes from yesterday, and has a margin of 6,686 over UCF Dude. UCF Dude has 7,702 votes (30%) in second place but slipped a little further behind Mason. OU Dude attempting to make a move on the outside, with 1,435 votes (6%), up from 4% yesterday and an increase of 917 votes since Monday.

Voted just now. Mason at 13,921 (58%) ...still Numero Uno. UCF dude is second at 7,314 (30%), a margin of 6,607 (an increase of 191from yesterday, so some folks was humpin' on Hump Day). In turd place is OU dude at 4%.

Agree. I thought that the comfort level in the stands was as good as, or better than, any game this year so far. Now the trip to Denton was the worst this year, but when I got there God indeed did His thing for the Mean Green faithful. That new field must drain like a champ because I thought the field conditions were excellent and didn't seem to affect the play.

I agree with the above posts...those were also the types of observations I made. So, all I can add is...

I thought I was going through through the outer bands of an approaching hurricane on parts of my 45-mile trek to Apogee. By the time I got there, more than an hour before kickoff, I wore my poncho only as a precaution and as a windbreaker for occasional chilly winds. It turned out to be very pleasant all day and my trip home was on dry roads. I guess I would have been worried had I not checked the radar often and saw that big clearing moving in from the west.

Raised on Stroh's...it was a family tradition. There was always a full case on the back porch.

I hate to be a traitor but at this time of year I turn to St. Arnold's Oktoberfest to bring to the game...but ONLY because Shiner doesn't sell its Oktoberfest in cans. And yeah, I know those aren't considered "craft" but I don't get around much anymore.
