  8. I will add that I suspect many of the "new posters in town" are in fact shills for RV. In more than 25 years of following the Mean Green, I can't ever remember encountering other fans with attitudes and sentiments like those I have seen expressed by some here. Not even if we were liquored up before kickoff! Or maybe they are just "in the closet" in public.
  9. You will notice that the most vocal UNT90 critics seem to be "new" around here. Coincidence? I think not. If they had been here for all of the RV regime (and then some), like I have, they might better understand the truth coming from UNT90.

  11. Tongue was firmly planted in cheek when I posted that. I'm still glowing from watching a helluva good football game...which Clemson should have managed to win. But Bama deserves credit for taking the game. That's the way football go. I fear we are going to see lots of scores like tonight's game unless we recruit some animals for the defensive side of the ball and a solid D-Line coach to replace KP. This next month is going to be interesting!

  19. Ooops! I should have elaborated on that and narrowed my theory's scope to HC and Staff moving from one NCAA institution to another. Good catch...I wasn't thinking about the "Dodge Anomaly".
  20. This hire will be interesting to follow. I have a theory that when you transfer your coaching team virtually intact from one school to another, it will be very efficient in the short term (efficient in terms of results). Due to the poor timing, a quick fix is needed here. I'm going to watch this one.
  21. I second that emotion! Withers would have been just fine for us and I think he will do well at TX State. I don't know offhand what his recruiting situation is there this year but they should be fine going forward. Fair-minded people should already be giving him a mulligan for this upcoming season under the circumstances.
