  1. So, did the "peaceful protesters" throw the first punch or did the idiot giving the Nazi salute? Free speech, as stupid as it is at times, should go both ways...can't have only one side to "free" speech. What country did the idiot want them to go back too.....Oklahoma?
  2. And the Mavericks, and the Stars and the Cowboys and FC Dallas as well. Come on Dallas area teams....break out of that mold and get to winning.
  3. I made no inference to who did what, why or when. Just the fact that some idiots decided to start a fight. showing, of course, their openness to differences in thought.
  4. Yep...folks clearly showing how open-minded they are about differing views.
  5. Appears to be a couple of pretty good gets for the Mean Green!
  6. So young and with so much in front of her. Prayers continue to go out to her family and friends. The Mean Green Nation has lost one of its own way way too early and way too tragically. May God grant her family peace and the ability to remember the good times. And may God wrap her in his arms and wash away her demons. So sad...so very very sad.
  7. What a shock! So very sad. Prayers go out to her family and friends.
  8. Not getting my hopes up, but this would definitely be a great "get" for the Mean Green. As Brett said...stay tuned.
  9. What a memory you brought back for me...Greatness! Thank you, Sir!
  10. All the best Cryil...give me a reason to enjoy watching the Saints. Well, me and lots if other Mean Green fans that is....
  11. Great job Jalie! Seems to me that Jalie is doing exactly what she needs to do to get the program going in the right direction. This is not a one year deal. It is going to take more than one season. Good job Jalie! Go get 'em!
  12. Good news! Congrats Blake! All he needs is a chance. What competition he has is fine. He will get his chance, and I would imagine that is all he was asking for. Now, go get 'em Blake! The Mean Green Nation is proud of you and is cheering for you.
  13. Will do, but let me also know what I need to pay you for it...appreciate you...thank you.
  14. That is fantastic! Thanks to you and all who attended for representing UNT and the Mean Green so well. Hayden Fry is still the best HC going and his coaching tree has many many branches. Anyway to get one of those flying worm pins?
  15. Nice read, Brett. Thanks.
  16. It really is fun when I hit a nerve with you. Always makes my day. Thanks for playing and Go Cards! We'll play again sometime soon about this personal responsibility thing I am most certain. Heck, I knew what I was getting. Edit...what really hurt me was that you missed the whole play off the Most Interesting Man in the World thing. Stay testy my friend!
  17. You would make a great Cubs fan. No place for a winning baseball tradition in your space I see. As a kid it was the Yankees or the Cardinals...Cards were the closest MLB team to Dallas and I loved that red bird on their unis and, of course, Stan was the Man! So, Cards for me...suffered through many many a 6th place finish until they finally beat the Yanks in the World Series. As a kid....best day ever! So, yep... Loyal Card fan. You can knock that any way you want and you can love at the feet of Hamilton as the Ranger savior all you want. Because it is baseball. The most boring professional sport of the big five. Yes, yes I did just put soccer in the Big Five...take that while you watch Josh collect his cash on the DL and party away all the while thumbing his nose at the Rangers. Heck, they knew what they were getting, so it's all good...not his fault. UNT90 must be a big fan here...it's not his fault. You and UNT90 big buds on this one, huh? It's never the responsibility of the player, right? All is forgiven Josh...snort away...oh, I meant hit away!
  18. "I don't always watch baseball, but when I do it will be the Cardinals." Some folks could use a moral compass...they seem to have lost theirs. Have the Rangers just allowed Jerry to become their GM? Question....no answer.
  19. Nope...don't use Twitter, but the guy pretty much laid it out.
  20. BTW...I've been a Cardinals fan since 1953. So, there's that. But, don't worry...Cardinals ace pitcher just went down for the season with a torn achilles. We will see what move the Red Birds make to try to plug a glaring hole in their line up. But, at the moment they lead the division without having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for a player long last his prime and soon to once again grace the DL where he can shoot his mouth off again about how poorly the Rangers treated him while looking around for another snort and shot. Hamilton couldn't even manage a press conference with a little humility....hey, "they knew what they were getting"... Well, so do the Rangers. Same thing the Angels got.
  21. You might consider changing that to "the money SMU donors are paying" 'cause it isn't the SMU budget paying those high coaching salaries. The difference is in the difference between the willingness of the schools donor bases to step up and make it happen. One is...one isn't. Both could.
  22. Yep, but I can never get a photo to upload to GMG.Com even with help. Always says "too large" even if one photo and then I see all these other uploads.
  23. Well, at least I have the Cardinals if the Rangers bring back Hamilton. Will sure save me some dollars not going to Ranger games as long as that guy us on the roster. Thanks Rangers! Absolutely cannot understand this possible pick-up. The Angels are dumping a guy that has been an absolute bust for them and the Rangers are picking up a druggie who seems to spend a portion of each season on the DL while disrespecting the city, team and fans who he know may be re-joining. Yep, desperate teams do desperate things. Daniels is grasping at straws. Too bad. Used to have a lot of hope and respect for Daniels...used to.
  24. Darn facts messing with people's bash Benford parties. If you want to knock UNT and/or Benford folks, at least get your facts right. Appreciate Cooley for his knowledge, his fairness in his criticisms and his factual posts. Guy knows basketball and "plays fair" with his criticisms when it feels it is appropriate to criticize.
