EXACTLY...and that is why all this crap-okay is so hypocritical. The only ones turning it into something political are the "protesters". Funny how that works, isn't it.

What political stunt was that? The fake students "signing" a bogus on-line petition? The fake student protesters who were actually union members among the 20 or so protesters who did turn out at the graduations? What political stunt? All I saw was the opportunity to have the Governor's ear for several hours and an opportunity to show the Governor the campus and let him know about all the great things happening at UNT these days. You know, the guy who sort of has some influence over the state's budget. You know, that guy? Congratulations on your graduation...and welcome to the real world. You and your fellow graduates have much to learn. Enjoy the ride...it's great!

This is why I am not a big fan of All-Star games at any level...HS, College or Pro. You really never seem to see a good game...yes, there are exceptions of course....the players are often more selfish, coaches do not know how best to play the players they have, players have little to no connection with their teammates, and many players give little effort except when they are the focus, or simply do much to avoid injury. Hard to tell that much from these games especially when most players have already "committed or signed" in the case of these HS games. Just my experience after having attended many of these "back in the day".

So, please find that quote as all I recall is the stuff about might based on what Nike does. I think 3XL who does some pretty snazzy uni designs really should get involved in the new design IF there is one for 2015. He seems to have a great grasp of design and what players seem to prefer these days...like Oregon, Okie State, Baylor, etc.

Someone help me to find where RV said ther would be new uniforms this season? Every time I listen to that I hear " might be required to change templates". Might is a far cry from "will", and it seems Nike is the one who will determine if new up is are required. OK, so what did I miss? I am sure something, but I don't want to get hopes up with some folks reading "might" as "will".

FC Dallas 2 - LA Galaxy 1.....FT!

Rebuilds are not usually a one year deal. You simply cannot pass up the talent of these players signed. Anyone who actually took the time to see last year's team play, and given who was lost through graduation and now a tragic event, knew this next season was going to be tough...very tough. Jalie is doing exactly what she needs to be doing to rebuild this program as fast as possible. Jalie is going to need some time. But, I hope some more folks will come out and watch and support this team next season. I think it might just surprise a few folks in a positive way.

I have said the same thing for years. Said it again this year. The spring game needs to be a big time event...lots of tailgating fun, events, pretty much a real game atmosphere both on and off the field. Make it a big spring party. Could be fun, could bring new fans or get long time fans fired up. Oh, well...we'll see, one never knows. Yes, folks are awake, but we have been down this topic so very many times.

The location of these bowls is much better than Hawaii and the Bahamas as far as accessibility and UNT's ability to draw a crowd. So, for that reason alone...I like them.

What did I miss? I saw no punches being thrown. I saw more than one guy being less than "calm" about the whole thing. I saw nothing that deserved an arrest. Nazi salute or not is not a crime. It is pure stupid and a disgrace, but it is not illegal. Geeeezzzz people...calm down. It is the Governor speaking, and you know what, the sun will come up the day after and graduation parties will begin immediately after. Get a life folks...this ain't nutin'. Geeezzz Louise. Calm down.

Just talking championships. Been awhile since Dallas was referred to as title town. Not banging on any of them, but in pro sports you don't get participation medals. It's championships that teams are rated on, not effort or close. Hey, I prefer the locals over most others...except maybe the Cardinals...yes, Quoner, the Cardinals....now that the Rangers have signed Hamilton. But, as soon as Hamilton snorts or drinks himself out of baseball, the Rangers will again top the Cards for me. And, yes, I understand lots here do not share my view on Hamilton, and that is fine. Seems to me after the Houston series that they don't need Hamilton anyway.

Coach Mitchell has really been busy in her first days as HC. It is going to take some time to rebuild this team, but, Man, Jalie is really working hard and fast. Going to be fun to watch this program develop.
