  13. Folks...just found out that the Cheer Team will be unveiling their 2017 Daytona National Championship routine during half-time of our game! Should be fun to see what they will perform in Daytona this year. So, bring some folks with you and come watch these great student-athletes perform. I do think you will be impressed by their athleticism and skill. Here is the player sign-up and donations link for anyone interested in supporting this event and these student-athletes: https://one.unt.edu/2017basketballclassic

  16. I went to virtually every women's home game and two away games this year (ODU and Little Rock NIT game), and GreandGreen is pretty much spot on. I think everyone felt that coming off a decent first year that year two would be much better. And, while we made the tournament and have our highest seed in awhile, you have to record this last season as a bit of a disappointment in the w/l column. Several bright spots...including a 33% increase in attendance...but not as many wins as most expected. Losing our point guard for the season in the exhibition against TWU early and having no real post player hurt more than I thought it would. As the season drew on it was obvious this would be a challenge. The team never quit and played hard, of course it is a Mitchell coached team, but had real problem ps playing against the zone and any level of press. The point guard loss hurt a bunch with that. I do think Coach Mitchell has the program headed in the right direction and has some quality players returning. We will just see where her recruits fit in and how year three goes. Pretty much at the same level as today's men's team when she took over, so it will take 3-4 years, in my opinion, to move the needle. An injury free year would help a lot as well.....well, that and a dominate post.
  17. You are just mad the tip jar won't be for TCU.
  18. Super for you. Never have I posted that I wanted RV gone....I have posted over and over that my loyalty is to UNT not individuals....thus my prior posts of "the King is dead, long live the King". Perhaps, like a lot of the things that you make up, you missed that. Your alternate universe must be a real trip. Hey, I think Andrew knows a good bit about basketball and I have never held myself out to be a basketball expert. I would agree that Andrew knows more about the game than I do. I appreciate many of his basketball insights. He also continues to form his opinions first hand about UNT basketball because he is often seen at the games. And, I am not talking about TCU games here FroggyKing. You seem to love that "sucking up" reference...probably due to a limited vocabulary. Maybe you can take some adult Ed classes at TCU and figure out some new insults. Your current ones are getting a tad old and routine and you have used them on just about everyone still posting on this board who seems to have even the slightest a different opinion than yours. For someone who professes to not "care" you sure seem to carry grudges and keep plenty of posts going on a board devoted to a school you have forsaken for another. Purple will look good on you...because green sure isn't your color any longer it seems. Anyway, there really is no point in trying to carry on any sort of discussion with our new FroggyKing. Carry on. I plan on doing the same. Inside joke....you won't get it but a couple others here might. Like you indicate, anyone who posts here on a regular basis is already "known", and unless you need a "safe room" or are ashamed of what you post, what dies it matter?
  19. Talking about numbers we have not should have. Missed the point. Agree that we "should" have more. I think everyone would agree with that point, but was not the point I was making at all.
  20. Oh, oh..."outed me"... now I'll just wait to see which mod removes your post. I had a post removed for even referring to someone quoted in the paper recently. In case you did not know..."it is generally considered bad form to out folks". You know, because no one knows who we are. But, here we are. You and me in the "bad form" group. ?? ... AND .... I get what I earn with my level of support for OSU. And, that is fine with me. I should also remind you that I am not a t-shirt fan of OSU. I actually graduated from OSU as well. You know, not like some "cough cough" t-shirt TCU fan.
  21. I hear TCU football tickets are on sale now...just sayin.....
  22. How did your Frogs do against OU today? What tournament seed will they be?
  23. Yep...considered it. But, of course you are confusing the few folks who post here with the majority of UNT fans. Typical. Hey, I hear they have TCU t-shirts on for 20% off at Goodwill. Might want to stop by and grab a few for garage rags.
  24. Except that you don't run off "die hards"...you run off others. Die hard fans are just that ... "die hard". They remain through thick and thin...they are there for the good times AND the bad times. Most true "die hard" fans are fans for reasons other than who the AD or certain coaches might be, and simply soldier through the "bad times" still supporting their university and its programs. Every university needs all the fans it can get...die hard, t-shirt, occasional, bandwagon...whatever you want to label them. No value judgement here...just clearing up the "definition" of die-hard. You cannot run those folks off.....as hard as the school might try sometimes.
