Just want everyone to know that we should tip-off NO LATER THAN 11:30AM...could come as early as 11:00AM if everything is set and ready to go. Doors open for warm-up, registration and set up at 10:00am...hope to see a good crowd there to cheer on out warriors who are playing, the Cheer Squad and all the donors and sponsors.. There will be a half-court shot event at half-time too...and you do not have to be a registered player to participate in this event at half-time...come one come all...... No admission fee to watch and have some great fun...all are welcome to attend the after event gathering at Metzler's BBQ on Londonderry Lane in Denton as well after the game...Silent Auction Bidding will conclude at Metzler's with "last chance bidding"....... It really will be a fun time...come out, Support the Cheer Squad and have some fun with some great Mean Green Nation families!

UPDATE: Look like we may also have a Karen Aston and a Johnny Jones autographed BB to add to out list of silent auction items...will know later this week...but, really great possibility here folks...get those checks handy or bring lots of cash...great items for the auction this year once again!!!!!

Indeed...a rock star performance by Clement today...near the end even a couple of the "liberal ladies" on the bench were actually trying to help Verrelli out with his argument as he was doing such a poor job. You had the "liberal ladies" trying hard to find a way to support Obamacare as Verrelli was doing such a poor poor job! Amazing, but then again...who picked him for the job? Wow....great stuff if you are into this sort of thing...I am hoping day three goes as well for Clement.

Well, that was bad! Hard to believe the U-23's are out of the Olympics. Still cannot figure why the Olympics has such an age set-up. I don't recall other sports having an age limit...but it's not the world cup and perhaps that is why...FIFA may not have allowed a competition against the make-up of the World Cup...the greatest sporting event in the world based on attendance, TV viewership, radio audience levels, ticket sales, memorabilia sales, jersey sales, etc., etc. U-23's SHOULD have beaten Canada and certainly El Salvador. Don't know what happened (other than the other teams scored more goals) but perhaps the make-up of this squad just never jelled...don't know, but it really is a shame, but as has been said...no real biggie in the world of soccer. I just do not like seeing the US out of any of these international competitions....

Quite possible as Kennedy is definitely the swing vote here, but "it ain't over until it's over"...and even if the Court rules against the mandates...which Constitutionally they should in my opinion...the whole Obamacare legislation needs to be repealed ASAP! Travesty of a piece of legislation..... Keeping my fingers crossed regarding how the Supreme Court will rule, but i am not at all ready to "call the vote" at this point....do hope, however, that you are 100% correct!

Yesterday was really not so much about the mandates and Obamacare but rather a very narrow point of law regarding whether the Justices even have standing to hear the case at this time....seems to me the majority felt it to be a slam dunk that they do indeed have standing to pursue the case...yes, not the best day for Obamacare, but nothing more than some very fine and technical legal wrangling...real stuff starts today. One question...after listening to the day...one question...Is Justice Ginsburg really alive? Or was it just a recorded voice being played by someone acting to be Ginsburg? Wow...can you say old? Maybe there really does need to be an age limit for Supreme Court Justices...just sayin..... Am hearing that today did not go well for Obamacare either. Solicitor general seems to be over his head a bit at this point, but it's still early....

I encourage everyone to have a great day enjoying these two great events...and, also remember that our UNT softball team is playing at home Saturday as well...could be a full MEAN GREEN DAY!!!! Don't think it's the "General Welfare" clause that will be in question, but rather the "Commerce Clause". I think the vote will be close whichever way it goes...And so it begins....

Have heard that season ticket renewal packages will be out late this month or early in April. That being said, I believe we usually received the renewal packages in mid-summer around the time of the Kick-Off Cookout. So, I wonder what the concern is about them not having them out as yet? This, historically speaking, would be early if my memory is not failing me this morning.

Here we go! Countdown is on........Sure wish i had a ticket and could be in DC to watch this one in person. Historic stuff here, folks. May God grant our justices the wisdom and fortitude to make the right and just decision. So very much depends upon this decision.

I recall talking with you in the Mean green Room before a BB game this season about the test you took for Sergeant....as I recall you said it would be awhile before you got the results...Looks like those results were very positive indeed! JUST GOT THE WORD...since we are playing at Apogee this year ...ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHAL OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD ON IN THE STANDS OR ON THE SIDELINES DURING OUR FLAG FOOTBALL GAME! So, get there early and stay late after the game tailgating...just like we all do at our regular Mean green home games.... Hey, I don't make the rules...I just follow them. Let's all "play nice" and make sure we abide by this rule. Really shouldn't hurt...much...except for me as I am not a player and always enjoyed a cold one on the sidelines while watching all you guys sweat! Well, may not even sweat that much this year as we are playing so much earlier in the year and earlier in the morning...heck, at 10:00AM, we should not even miss it, right? OK, sorry i mentioned that last part!
