BEAT TROY! I think this team is ready to take on the Sunbelt and give everyone a run for their money and the conference crown. Really looking forward to next Saturday's HOME GAME! Some really nice play by some individual Mean Greens last evening....I think this team is ready to challenge in the Sunbelt. Starting with a win over Troy...of course!

Two great coaches who respect each other going head to head...much to like in that situation. Good luck to K-State the rest of the year...execpt, of course, when you play the Cowboys of OSU...just sayin....

First Qtr...OSU 17 - LaLa 0! It's going to be nasty for LaLa up in Stillwater today...BUT, OSU has lost it's starting QB to what appears to be a bad knee injury...giving the chance for Denton Guyer's own J.W. Walsh to run the OSU offense....local kid getting his chance...hope Lundy is OK and that the injury is not as serious as it looks now, but here comes Denton Guyer's J. W. Walsh! LaLa just looks over matched and can in no way handle the two OSU defensive tackles! LaLa getting set to punt back to OSU again after another 3 and out...this might get really nasty for LaLa! Still in the first qtr. Here's betting that the Mean green do much better against K-State than LaLa is doing against the Cowboys right now. LaLa looks unprepared for this game...I'm betting that the Mean Green is prepared and ready to give K-State a real run for its money today! GO MEAN GREEN...WHY NOT NORTH TEXAS!!!!!

Result of a weak president and a weak foreign policy...not to mention pandering to the radical muslim crowd in the middle east. All you have to do is read/listen to the comments coming out of Egypt and Libya and then the US response to know just how weak they see the US these days and how they know the US will keep pouring money and personnel into the Arab causes...all the while doing all it can to distance itself from the only true ally the US has in the region....go figure. But....let's just sit down and talk...it will be OK...that's been the problem all along, these folks are just misguided and we just need to talk to them and all will be worked out! Yep...how's that working out for you O? These "peaceful" folks are just having a street party, right? Hard to have a democracy when the populace is ignorant and the country's leadership is nothing more than some shills for a bunch of radical clerics. Until this area develops a much more highly educated population...heck most of these folks probably cannot even read what's in the Koran....it will rely on Clerics...trained and untrained...to "TELL" them what to do...they really have no clue. But...you know, we can just sit down and have a good chat and all will be peachy keen! This is a sad situation. The folks loved this great nation of ours and were serving it well in a "deadly" region of the world...and we have an uneducated and un-policed bunch of religious nut cases running around freely killing people...all in the name of their religion. Nice! You'll show them O, you'll just not invite them to the next afternoon tea party! Plenty of sarcasm in this post in case you missed it.

Of course she had it coming...idiot that she was...and may usually be from what i saw on that video...BUT...she did not go to jail...sat in the back of the squad car for about 30 min...then got a ticket and was sent on her way....now, guess what? Joe...I believe this was mentioned...and the number of teams with 0 sacks given up at 13 at last Monday's Coach Mac show....maybe you were just busy trying to think up that softball of a question you threw at Coach mac in the open mike portiopn of the show to have noticed when he and George were talking about this...Ha! OH, good God, give it a rest Mr. Aggie. You must not have been around this board much as if you have you would know that I am also a graduate of OSU...thus a Big XII fan. The Aggies are afraid of UT and all that entails, but OSU, OU and the rest are staying to kick the crap out of UT...the Aggies gave up, started "boo hoo'ing" because they don't have the big boy pants to pull off their own network and left...that simple. Seems the rest...who could have left for the PAC 12, stayed and told UT to stuff it...OU just announced their own network deal (but not their own network like UT...granted). So, again...color it or excuse it any way you like...I have my opinion and it won't change...nor will your opinion I suspect. Fine with me. My opinion...worth about as much as your opinion, Emmitt';s or anyone else on the board. You are free to pull for the Aggies all you want....except of course when and if they are not too afraid to schedule the Mean Green!

Going to be a great season for the Mean green and the Mean green Nation. Let's not, however, get too full of ourselves here...this is looking like a pretty tough early season schedule, which should, of course, set UNT up well for the Conference run and title shot, but like is mentioned about...St. Louis is looking to be in the NATION'S Top ten in early polls. Big test for the Mean green, but one I am looking forward to watching...Mean Green is definitely going to open some eyes this season......but, beating national top ten teams is still going to be a challenge. Can happen...no doubt about it...and that's what I'll be looking forward to, but not going to predict winning 'em all......just the majority and another 20+ win season...and the tournament crown...and an NCAA win...and.....but, let's not get too ahead of ourselves here...YET!

Nope...not at all...just not happy with the way they left the Conference and all the mess it caused. And, of course the fact that we will now not get to see the UT-A7M game each Thanksgiving. All because the Aggies are afraid of UT. Have all the respect in the world for the loyalty of Aggies and their fans...and think the fans and alums got the shaft in this deal...travel costs just went way up and they are probably going to get their rear ends handed to them the next couple of years pretty regularly. All because they couldn't stand the heat of big bad UT. That and the fact that I'm a Big XII conference fan right after UNT of course!

With the schedule out now it will make scheduling that tailgate event so much easier...now which double-header can we pick????? Ha! CBL...you just love stirring the pot, don't you? Gotta love it! Someone call Aston and ask her what she thinks....... Smiling......

Emmitt...have no problem with any way the Aggies want to justify running away to get away from UT. Color it any way you want...but, that's exactly what they did and why they did it...anyone...ANYONE who has been around college football in this area to recall the old SW Conference days and the first years to the last years of the A&M Big XII experience knows EXACTLY why the Aggies made this move...fine with them, but you don't need to help them cover up for their running away from big bad UT...Boo Hoo...Boo Hoo! Poor Aggies!

Cheap...yep. But, I'll bet you meant inexpensive, right? I wouldn't walk across the street to see that bunch of frightened Aggies play SMU if it were free. They couldn't take the heat of having to play Texas and the rest of the Big XII so they ran off to the SEC. Ha! Maroon Orange envy and jealousy is so bad! Ran the Aggies off....HeHe! Nice finish against Florida Aggies! Looks like the same bunch that Sherman had to me.....OK, just being a bit tough on you here.......still say $100 for A7M and SMU is a tad steep. Now...A7M and Oklahoma state in Stillwater...that's worth $100!!!! And THAT $100 WOULD be inexpensive and worth it!

Anyone who thinks special team players like deep snappers are not 100% critical to the outcome of a game need look no further than the Oakland raiders game this last Monday evening. Makes me super glad we had Troy Kokjohn deep snapping for us last year and that Blake Dunham has taken over the reign and is so far carrying on a great tradition of quality...very high quality...deep snappers for UNT. I could say the same thing about the importance of all special teams players. I cannot for the life of me figure out why some teams "short change" the special teams in practice time! You think Oakland is placing a bit more emphasis on special teams this week in practice? Here's saying a big "thank you" to all UNT special Teams players and coaches...what you do or don't do often make the difference! Know you are appreciated! Big shout out here as well to the best punter in the SunBelt...Will Atterberry! That punt that went out on about the 2 yard line last Saturday was something special indeed! Love seeing the PK's and FG's split those uprights...thanks Zach Olen.....I could go on, but am liking what I am seeing from the Mean Green Special Teams. Edit: Had to fix a spelling goof...sorry!

Had a great time at the Coach mac show last evening...saw some "new faces" as well in attendance...good crowd...good show. If you have not attended one of these in person and are close enough to do so...I highly recommend your dropping by and seeing how it goes for yourself. Lots of Mean green nation members attend...Rudy's has great food and cold beer! What's not to like...come on by...let's make 'em give us the BIG ROOM!

On this we completely agree. DT will be fine. memories are short around here it seems. An off night perhaps, but the numbers added up to a win for the Mean green. Just keep leading the team to victory DT...you don't have to do it all yourself these days.....DT is the Mean green QB...he'll get it done folks...relax.....

Well...for those who recall who my adopted "players" are...they all did great! No camera...but, trust me...they were wonderful.....each and every one...I do recall one special case in ... oh, never mind...you all understand! UNT co-eds on game day...GREATNESS!
