This just points out how excited folks are about UNT BB this year.....uniform talk has usually been reserved for football informs. This stuff just makes me even more excited about the coming BB season....folks seem pretty fired up..can we average 4500 plus fans this year? I think that is VERY possible. Be there!

Great to see golf regaining the winning tradition that UNT once had....good things to come in both men's and women's golf. Way cool!

Tough loss for the ladies, but still holding on to hope for a SBC championship...need a little help, but it's possible. Very proud of this team...especially as it is so "young". Really good things to come with this bunch. Should also make a run at the tournament crown and thenNCAA's.

Again...and read carefully...I was not advocating men's soccer OVER baseball...just commenting that I had been jabbing RV for years about it...playfully, I might add. Again...try to keep up here...It seems to be hard for you for some reason....I said baseball was next. Just said that it would be easier to add men's soccer....and that is true. Way less money, and could be going by next season. And since you asked...yes, for me personally, I much rather have men's soccer than track and field..but that's just a personal preference. I would NEVER advocate for the loss of any program. I WAS IN THE MEETING with players and parents when the men's soccer team was cut. I know how that feels and I looked right into the eyes of the players who had just signed to play for UNT and were now being told to forget it.....way too late to catch on and play for any other school. And, these were kids recruited to UNT to play men's soccer and who had turned down other programs to play for UNT. So, between you and me, I probably have a bunch more experience at this than you. So, do try to keep up, and do try your best to comprehend what one is saying....and leave your attitude at the door.

The point was UNT could easily add men's soccer in lieu of baseball (not in addition too). THAT, would be easy...but, not addding both. If you would actually read and think a tad before shooting off a post you would actually see that I was not indicating that UNT would add both men's soccer and baseball...simply that men's soccer would be much easier and much less costly to add than baseball...also indicated that was not going to happen and that baseball was next. Geeeeezzzzzzz, Louise, read a bit...at least try! How many times have we been through this soccer/baseball thing here on GMG.com?

I do not know what the odds are...what I do know is that if UNT wins seven it will have a pretty good chance of going bowling. So, the next game is the Big Game! And, then the one after that...one game at a time folks, one game at a time....and that will determine the odds for us. Next up...Middle....so, BEAT MIDDLE!

Ha...I have been jabbing RV about this for years now. Oh, it would work and rather easily at that...already have the stadium and the cost of unis and equip is marginal at best in soccer/futbol. But, the next men's sport will be baseball...not soccer.

No NCAA rule against selling beer...we have been over that numerous times. The NCAA does not condone nor discourage the sale of beer....it is up to the individual college. Many schools sell beer inside their stadiums without any problem at all. Love how some folks like Shaft always want to call for someone to be fired. The stupidity that this demonstrates is beyond belief. Lots of issues and hurdles to cross in getting this going at Apogee. It is "in the works" and we will all be able to enjoy God's golden nectar inside Apogee soon. Patience folks ... patience.

SHORT ANSWER...YES...beer will be sold at Apogee in the near future. The problem with not selling on the student side is owing to the fact that that is where the visiting team fans sit. At LaLa they sell beer on both sides...have not witnessed a problem there...other stadiums sell on both sides as well. I would opt for at least one beer stand down on the student side near the visiting team area. The folks selling the beer can certainly ID folks. And, all beer sales will stop no later than the end of the 3rd quarter. Beer is not the problem...it's the fools drinking too much of "God's golden beverage"....remember, guns don't kill...people do! Or...something like that! Moderation, folks, moderation...Hmmmmmmm, such a simple concept, so hard to follow!
