Not going to fire him either way...some folks just need to reconcile themselves to this fact. Talking about firing Coach Benford after this season is just plain silliness. I realize that some folks would be happy if this happened...your opinion and you are welcome to it, but at some point you have to just reconcile yourself to the real facts...Benford will return as UNT's HC for men's basketball next season. Book it Danno!

I would like to know as well as didn't JJ pretty much use him the same way? I know in a perfect world and certainly in the pros he will not be playing post...but given this team and the players available, would love to hear from some of our most astute basketball folks how they would use him here at UNT. Would you rely on Coleman, Nikko or who to play that spot on an every game starting basis...or what other option would there be. Like Lifer...honest question....So, play Coach at UNT with the squad you have...what do you do, Coach?

Is Cooper Jones heading up the investigation? What's the link to that website? I need to do some "research" on this case!

Let it be duly noted and corrected...Tasty is "out" and in the open air...saw him at the game last night, and I was correctly corrected by said Tasty that he has been at all the home games this season in his assigned seat. Does failing eyesight come with more age as well???? But, we will not be seeing said Tasty in Hot Springs this year....poor guy has to work! YIKES! We'll drink a few cold ones at Lucky's in your honor....let the record be so corrected!

Has absolutely Zero to do with respect for Benford or not. Has more to do with respect for yourself and your team. But, obviously not too serious...came off the bench pretty early in the game and came in with some fire and passion.

Nice win...really nice effort. Overcame a really flat start to the second half. Lots of energy tonight. Any win is a good win. Maybe the guys are "buying in" and getting ready for Hot Springs. Get hot and the Mean Green could make a run. Will need CJ as "bodies" ready to play will be important in the tournament. Looking forward to Hot Springs and the possibilities it provides. Cheer Clinic Added to the day's event schedule: NORTH TEXAS CHEER MINI CLINC - Grades K-8th...cost: $25 and includes not only the clinic but a t-shirt, face "tattoo" and a snack with NT Cheer team members and coaches. Place: Strickland Middle School Gym - Denton (location of this year's GMG.Com BB game), Time: Check-in begins at 9AM and ends with the snack at 11:00AM followed by the GMG.Com BB game where we might just have some young clinic attendees cheering at the game! 11:15...basketball game tips off! Not to beat the point, but reading and comprehension are two entirely different things...in English class I never seemed to comprehend the point of some of the BS I was required to read and report on..I never saw the little "fine points" that my professor seemed to think was obvious. Who knew the mast on the ship Billy Bud was on was really an analogy for Christ on the Cross??? I mean, really...who knew? Not me when I was in freshman English at UNT...thus, reading and comprehension...two different things. And, i have never read that story again to see if it "jumps out" at me now...prof ruined a lot of good literature for me.
