Great news for the Mean Green! Welcome to the Mean Green Nation guys!

I plan on arriving between 8am and 8:15am to start the set up...hopefully we can get in the gates at that time...really appreciate your help in volunteering for this event. Just show up when you can..no worries...as to what to bring...just bring yourself and cash or check for all the great silent auction items you might acquire! Ha! Thanks again...see you Saturday!

Thanks to Coach Hubbard for getting these to us ant to untcampbell and Harry ( our two managers) for getting these up on the board. FOLKS...it would be really helpful if you would notify your respective coach through email, phone or a PM on GMG.Com what position you would like to play. It will really speed things up come game time...also, Coaches, if you have players who are not on GMG.com, but you know them...give them a shout and remind them of the game times and ask about positions...if you signed someone up to play that is not a GMG.COME-er...get with them and then let your coach know about the position they would like and their relative experience, etc. this would be very helpful and very nice to have ahead of game day. Many thanks...getting closer to WORLD SERIES time! Hope we have a few folks come out to cheer, watch and just join in the fun of the tailgate, auction, and trash talking!!!!! OK...here's a biggie ..... NO BEER IN THE PLAYING FIELD AREA...TAILGATE, YES! PLAYING FIELD NO! We need to heed this rule, folks...will help us to keep being able to play these games on university fields. Thanks for understanding.

Whoa! Didn't realize I was in that much danger...better not ref any amateur games in Brazil! This is just crazy...really bizarre behavior here all the way around. I am thinking there may be more to this story...like some prior knowledge and personal animosity between these two that had nothing to do with the game! Wow! Bad stuff here....

Hey...great news...Coach Hubbard has sent us the rules he drew up for the game...that was really great of him...helping even after leaving...great guy. Nope..Coach Hubbard promised to get us the rules...alas Coach Hubbard is gone...working on it from Costa Rica is a tad challenging, but, hey...lots of fun...that and folks telling me they now cannot play after shirts ordered and rosters set! Oh, the joys of organizing these little events. Hey...got to be flexible...it is going to be great....all fun and definitely for a great cause! See you on the 13th.

Congrats to Will....hey, congratulate him in person on the 13th at the GMG.com softball game...he's playing in the game! Just graduated and giving back already....lots to like about young Will. Really hope he gets "the call" for one of the NFL camps...keeping all fingers and toes crossed....they don't start before the 13th do they? Ha!

Both teams are down a player or two...but we did just add one to the white team yesterday...so Attaway is in and goes to the Green team! T-shirts are already ordered, so he'll get one of the extras without a name...he can just be the mystery man! So, Jason Attaway to the Green Team! Only fair since both are down, white added a player yesterday and UNT88 got the lead and roped him in to play as well.... Done deal... Thanks to UNT88 for filling a vacant slot for us and WELCOME HOME JASON ATTAWAY! Green Team it is!

Too bad for UNT, really good news for Coach Lundy. Anyone who has been anywhere near the UNT men's program this last year knows how much Coach Lundy missed his family and missed being around his kids. I was lucky enough to meet a couple of his sons recently at a Twilight Tunes event on the Denton Square and you could tell that Coach Lundy was very proud of them and very happy to have them with him for a change. The separation from family has been difficult for Coach Lundy to say the least, and I for one, definitely get that. This is a good move for Coach Lundy and he will be successful as a HC once again, and he will be a ton closer to his family. While it "sucks" for UNT it is definitely the right thing for Coach Lundy and his family. Anyone reading anything else into this is simply not correct. had his family been in Denton, Coach Lundy would still be part of the Mean Green. Really enjoyed meeting and talking with Coach Lundy. He was very positive about the team's prospects and very candid about last year's situation. Excellent X's and O's guy and a good recruiter and floor coach as well. he'll be missed, but it also opens up the opportunity to bring a new assistant into the Mean Green family. Good luck as HC next season, Coach. You will be missed here, but your family needs you as well.

Praying for the peace that Brian and Nicole so deserve. This "stuff" is so hard to understand and to deal with. It seems to so very often hit the "good guys" of the world. Don't understand this at all, but what I do know is that Brian is a lucky guy to have such friends and to have someone like Nicole with the love and strength to stand with Brian from the start to the end. It takes a love...a real love...to handle this stuff. I believe Brian knows how many people are in his corner...many he does not know by name. The Mean Green Nation is with both you, Brian and you, Nicole. May God bless you both and grant you peace.

I trust you told him how successful the soccer team has been, right? If he wants his kid to follow a successful local program, well, UNT is a winning one to follow. You did point that out, right?

So, being on the same team this time should help...since you are both older and wiser now about such things, right? Keep saying...it's just a game...it's just a game...it's just a game...then go out and buy flowers, candy and diamonds!
