Exactly correct. That's why UNT was fortunate enough to sign him later. I do think if he had stayed at OSU he may have gotten a lot of time his last two seasons, but really happy he ended up with UNT. Great person too.

Nope...did that sort of thing when I was probably your age and much poorer than I am now...so, I will enjoy my seats. I earned them through sitting out at Fouts in rainstorms, snow storms, 20 degree days and 100 plus degree heat games. So, the cheap seats are not for me any longer in any type of weather. But, I'll be there...assume you will as well. No excuses!

Rarely...very rarely.

Really appreciate the fact that you are taking the lead in doing something positive. I applaud your efforts and appreciate why you are keeping Somme details private. Very wise decision. Nice to see some folks doing something other than telling other people what they should do. Well done young man, well done. Very excited to hear about the project and progress as you deem appropriate.

If UT was forward thinking

JJ at Duke? Probably doesn't have enough suits. Does he like jam or jelly? How do they feed their babies at Duke? -
Yep...nailed it right on the head. Sure wish Roger was back.

New floor will not be unveiled until the first game against Northwood. Too bad so many won't get to see it in person....since they have vowed to stay away.

Different league...adjustments may take time. D-League will help him develop...hopefully into a future NBA all-star. Has the tools for that for sure...we'll see. Got 5 boards...that's good. But, Haifa is certainly not an NBA quality team. Doubt the NBA folks see him as a scorer anyway...need rebounds and blocks to have a big time future. Go get 'em Tony!

Oh, no, not another man crush? I'm jealous. Man, you need to choose. I cannot keep playing this game...pick your man crush already and stay with it! Two-timer!

It's just the current popular excuse folks have dreamt up for not attending. There will be a new popular excuse next year...count on it.

I fully believe that DT will be treated and looked upon with much more fondness and respect in the years to come by UNT fans than he is now by a lot of our current fan base. History will treat him well. It is a shame that more now do not give this kid credit for what he has done throughout his career. What is interesting, to me, to note is what he has done with the teams around him through the years, the injuries to key players in the offense, his own injuries, et., etc. and, as to the wins and losses, there is a defensive and special teams side to a team. The wins/losses are not always on the offense. Plus, the current day Sunbelt teams are much better overall today than when UNT, under Dickey, was heading to the NO Bowl back in the day. One must recall that UNT won the Sunbelt with either a 50-50 or a losing record one of those years. Got pretty much destroyed in the OCC games and then ran the table pretty much in conference over some very weak Sunbelt teams. That's the facts, Jack...as they say. So, sure, wins count. Wins are the barometer by which all teams are measured. I definitely get that. But, I do believe, DT will be treated much better by history when the emotions die down and the reality sets in. Simply my opinion.

Heck no. Why call and get complete information when it is so much better to post complete and incorrect garbage so one can play the "got ya-blame game?" Sort of like how cops do stuff when they don't have enough evidence...heck ...just make it up and convict the wrong guy. It helps the precinct stats. Craig Watkins agrees with me by the way! -
See, if you kiddos would turn out earlier like us older folks we could have posted a photo of us together so SSP would see I wasn't kidding about you actually being a good guy...in spite of that GMG.Com persona of yours at times! Thanks for coming out and supporting this event. It really was great...had a shot of a new Texas made Tequila named Tequila 512. Made a great chaser for my old school cold mug of PBR! New school- old school....old PBR chased by new 512... Yummy!

Guess what, I just looked outside and the sun is shining. Actually, it really is...some of you need to get a new perspective on this whole "life" thing. Good gosh! I really like this SSP person...hang in there, love the attitude and perspective. You will know you have made it when the "usual suspects" start calling you names and wishing death upon you! Folks, trust me...the world is still spinning on its axis, the sun is up and will come up, and there will always be another game. It's called a game for a reason. Enjoy the ride...everyone is headed for the same destination...while spoil the trip with an always crappy and negative outlook?

There is still time to make it to Fuzzy's Taco on the service road at I-35 and Loop 288 in Denton to enjoy some great food, good drinks and help raise a few bucks for the Mean Green Club Scholarship fund. Went by from 5-7 PM and there was a pretty decent crowd, but the event runs until 10pm. So, if you are out and about stop by for a taco or two or three and a great drink or two! You will see a bunch of members of the great Mean Green Nation and help out at the same time. Lots of staff and supporters around along with some great student band folks playing some good stuff...coaches available for a chat as well as lots if staff. Celebrity waiters and bartenders...fun evening for sure. Go by and enjoy! Really appreciate Fuzzy's Taco for sponsoring this event and helping the Mean Green! Great local business partner.

Don't know...but I do know who is full of both themselves and a bunch of BS at the same time. Do all your cops prefer to dunk their donuts while on duty in coffee or milk? -
I really applaud the effort you are making here. So many want to find D what's wrong at UNT and jump at the first chance they have to belittle or knock those that are trying to help. You seem to be on a positive quest here to do something that will definitely make a difference...and a good one! So, more power to you. Ignore the jackasses that want to be cute and make something negative out of this...hang in there, as there are certainly many more willing to help and willing to support you in your efforts. Well done, Sir. Well done! Appreciate all you are trying to accomplish. We need more just like you.

No...where in my post did I say I thought it was a problem? I was referring to those of you who want to create problems even if one does not exist...like say a Basketball event for Oct. 30th. Funny how, when the facts are known, it seems to have been no problem at all. -

Yep...my bad! Totally blew this one and happy to admit it. Started the math with the wrong dollar level for the 50 yard seats...even forgot what I paid (that's a good thing really) and it went south from there. Really...my bad here folks and I apologize fir getting the math wrong. Should have had CPA Oldguy audit my numbers before posting. I would delete the original post, but too many folks caught the error...big one at that...and have quoted it, so best to leave it up. Sorry, very, to have added to the confusion. Math is hard when you start with the completely wrong assumption! ha! While $3000 is not $6000, I get the fact that most folks buy at minimum of two tickets. And, yes, call Dan now that this has been cleared up...5 year pay plan makes those $3000 seats fairly reasonable. Not as reasonable as my completely off math, but still... Thanks to those who caught this and fixed it. Have no problem owning completely up to the gaff...facts are there! -

Oh, so the real problem was NOT the date of this event it was the amount of time parents have as a "head's up"? OK. Nice bit of backslidding you are doing here. And, yes, you could find out with that phone call (I did)...you made a call, but were too interested in trying to catch someone in a mistake than actually finding out...so don't give me the "parents want to know crap-ola and need 20 days to plan"...that's a real joke! You were into the "let's blame someone and someone screwed up game" not the let's get the real info so parents can plan mode. But, if your revisionist theory works for you...great. So, what's the next "everthing is screwed up thread" will you be forthcoming with? Can't wait for the next one. This one turned out so well once the facts actually came to light, right? -

OK, got it...the problem is that two events were not advertised on the same flyer! Darn, my bad... here I thought Emiitt was all fired up because it was an event on the 30th. Sorry. -
