As UNT90 would remind you...it's a internet fan board...get over it. Case in point...I asked for former players to respond...who was the first to respond? Just asked where he played. Seems a simple question to me...I know darn well what FANS think on the subject...I agree with UNT90 and probably every other FAN on this board, THUS I asked for a response or two from former players. Seemed fairly tame question to me. Want me to tell you who and what annoys me? Didn't think so...get over it or ignore it...pretty simple.

Would absolutely love to see a UNT-Iowa match up in the Heart of Dallas Bowl! Perfect match up from a tradition perspective for the Mean Green considering Fry's legacy with both. How great would this be? About as great as it gets....that's how great!

Agree with you, but so was Peyton Manning, Michael Vick, Eli Manning, Troy Aikman, Eli Manning, Joe Montanna, etc., etc., etc. A tad early to determine the fate of Johnny Football, but I prefer your Ryan Leaf analogy unless the kid does a 180 on that ego thing he has going. But, that's just me...seems to be fairly well liked by the Aggie faithful and, for now, I am guessing that is all that matters.

And some would still be finding stuff to complain about. All a matter of perspective and attitude. Glass half full guys...glass half empty guys...personal choice...always is.

Do players even care or know about this? Does playing in a homecoming game mean a team practices or plays differently? Does playing in a homecoming game mean that one's play is different? I know, at some schools, it can mean a larger crowd and louder crowd, but for the players and coaching staffs....does this really matter all that much? Would like to hear from those on here who actually played college ball as their perspective would be the one that matters. I see this as an interesting phenomenon, and hear it discussed often, but wonder what those who actually played the game think about what difference it makes.

Is this your idea of bait and switch or do you really think the coaching staff would lead him down this path? Thought in an earlier post you were critical of some of this kid's "abilities" due to his size. If UNT recruits him as a QB, great, but otherwise I am not in favor of using a big lie to land any recruit. Lies usually have a way of coming back to haunt one. Do you think he could be a D1 starting QB and perhaps take the job away from our heir apparent? Just asking.

Hope you are correct...might take 7 for any team other than those in a BCS conference...or whatever it may be called going forward.

If the state is not going to properly fund these universities and if tuition and fees cannot be raised appropriately to support the schools, they should be closed. Political correctness or fear of being called names should not play a role. Fund them properly or shut them down. Has enrollment been going up over the last few years? If so, it reflects interest in the school. If not...that pretty much says it all.

Isn't this the kid that was getting ZERO looks by D1 schools until UNT stepped up with an offer? So, now the TCU's of the world like this kid? The same TCU that just went 0 for Oklahoma this season after today's loss to Oklahoma State?

Redemption Day for Zac! One of several Mean Green players having a really outstanding day. Really great to see. Thanks Zac for doing all you could do to produce for your team even when things were not going well for you personally. That's what a team player does. This team believes in themselves and the players are accountable to each other. Super day, Zac...super!

And, on top of that, he is really giving a great effort with the scouts watching. This kid can play and SHOULD be getting some looks from the boys of Sunday!
