There were a few more on the other side of the court. But, turnout was not good. Not many students AT ALL. Really too bad. Think what you will about the head coach and/or the opponents...the players did not make those decisions. Too bad so many fans gave taken their unhappiness out on the players by not showing up to support them and create that "home court advantage". They may see it as a protest against the administration, but it manifests itself in empty seats and a lack of support for the players. Too bad, but it is what it is.

What I actually think George referred to Blake as was one of the recruiting class these seniors came from...not as a senior. Blake, I believe, will be back playing for the Mean Green next year. Do not know Blake's actual status...he may have a redshirt year in there somewhere...don't really know. But, pretty sure Blake will get back next year.

Maybe a thread should be started with the title...."Why Do UNT Folks Always Think Someone Else Does It Better?" This sort of crap-ola is getting a bit tired. "Why can't we" do this or that when some other university comes up with a different message, ad program, promotion, uniform, rap video, etc., etc. Maybe folks should actually open their eyes and ears to all the great stuff happening around UNT these days and focus a tad more on the greatness that is UNT rather than something some other university is doing. What is Indiana's record this year so far? I believe it is 4-6 and looking like no bowl for the Hoosiers. I believe UNT is 7-3 and bowl bound, right? And, as I recall...UNT beat Indiana the last time they met on the football field...at Apogee no less! Maybe Indiana should figure out how to win a football game from UNT and not worry so much about a student rap video done in fun.

Drug dealers are scum. They deserve everything they get and then some from the courts. Absolutely no pity for the guy. He knew what he was doing. He got caught...that is the ONLY thing he is sorry for in this situation. Adios Scumbag...is that something this idiot can understand? Had it going...blew it big time!

Change airlines...NOW! I hope you have an un eventful flight...it does happen from time to time on this disaster of an airline. You just must keep reminding yourself...one gets what one pays for. The low-cost provider is not always the better option. But, for your sake I hope you luck into one of the rare decent experiences on this airline. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed for you!

Oh, I will definitely be around...I have some Alumni type commitments, Mean Green Club tailgate event, a bowl shot tailgate event with some special and great tailgaters, etc. will definitely be around...including my usual drop by with UNT90 and Company's tailgate, and my attempt to be in line for the Mean. green team walk into the stadium. Where you gonna be?

Nope-retired. But, it does interfere with my volunteer service sometimes and my bride mentions it from time to time! :-)

And, one of two of us in a suit no less! I came over from the Alumni Association Ring Ceremony held that evening. Didn't think tech guy types wore suits. It looked like a pretty nice garb...had that shirt with the stock broker white cuffs and collar shirt. Way cool, man! Styling at the BB game. Were you in disguise?

Well, moved to Denton just before my senior year of HS in 1965. Seemed natural to head to UNT after graduating from DHS. Already had part-time jobs to help pay for college expenses here in Denton so just stayed. Got involved in tons of activities while at UNT and just loved the place. Went off to grad school at OSU and then the Air Force during the Vietnam Nam era, but always Denton was home, and UNT was MY UNIVERSITY. After returning from the Air Force and settling down in Denton with my bride, who was a two-time UNT grad and employed by UNT at the time, I went back to UNT for my MBA. Well, the rest is pretty much history. We love Denton and we love UNT.

Thanks folks...just yesterday I was 25 and blinked...time machine took me all the way to 66! But what a great ride it has been so far. Being made all the greater by all the wonderful Mean Green Nation members I have met and admired along the way! What memories all those photos bring! Thanks Harry! Go Mean Green! Beat UTSA!

The only thing he regrets is getting caught. He'd still be doing it if he had not been caught. Same with all these folks who "regret" their misdeeds AFTER getting caught.
