So, you will be donating to the Go Mean Green basketball, football and softball games for the new year? Those events are down pretty pat. In fact, there is a thread about the basketball event right now...players needed, donors needed, sponsorships available...you in? We'd love to see your participation. Maybe the Scappy thing has you tapped out, but even so...volunteer spots available. Want to be a referee? Love to have ya!

Now this I would agree with, IF and it is a big IF, one makes the assumption that those responsible thought it was bad. I am thinking lots of folks saw the re-do design, liked it and approved it and have no intention of changing it back just because some folks don't like the change. Just sayin..... PS: I have no clue who was responsible, nor do I care. I really haven't paid that much attention and have not noticed anything wrong with the redo. But, like I said...it's pretty low on my "I need something to complain about" list right now.

Where did I say I wanted to donate or that I disliked the new Scrappy? Pretty presumptuous of you there.

Just wondering if the "bloom is off the rose" with this SEC thing? With OU's win over Alabama and FSU's win over Auburn might this be the start of the return to earth for the evil empire that is the SEC? Article in the San Diego paper this morning alluding to this sort of started me thinking. Most of this sort of thing runs in stages. Maybe the SEC stage is at the beginning of its decline back to earth. These two games certainly show that the SEC is not the only conference capable of winning National Championships. No, I am in no way indicating that the SEC is still not very solid, but maybe the days of its dominance is seeing a few cracks. What say you?

When did UNT start requiring Music Ed? I have two UNT degrees... Never once set foot in a Music Ed or Art Ed Class.

Just kids, right? No need to get excited or to suggest in any way that they might be responsible for their own actions and/or decisions. I wonder who the real responsible party is? OK, so I couldn't resist....and for those new to the board or otherwise unaware...that is sarcasm .... Pure and simple.

Started one out of 14 games? MTSU will probably be able to find a way to survive. What is going to hurt is the reduction of bench depth I would think.

Oklahoma State is pretty darn good this year. No shame in getting beat by the Cowboys this year. How about SDSU beating Kansas on KU's home court? I am in San Diego right now and the local papers and news were all over that one! Who knew SDSU was going to be that good? Wow!

Why does anyone care what SMU fans think about UNT? Who the frig cares? The issue is with UNT fans who get so worked up over it all. It keeps giving the SMU folks cannon fodder and a reason to continue. Why? Because it gets under so many UNT fans skins and they react. Ignore it all. It does not matter one iota what SMU thinks or does not think, and has absolutely zero impact on UNT. Much much better things to do than obsess over SMU. Ignore them...it will go away, just like Cougar King and Froggy Style.

Stoops is reported to have said something to the effect of...as long as they were going to run HS coverages I was going to keep running that play. I was trying to teach him something. I have no factual knowledge of that. It was simply told to me by an OU insider friend of mine. Telling if true.
