UNT's housing and food costs to students continues to be WELL BELOW peer group average. This increase does not move the needle much closer to peer group average which is the aim of the university over the next few years.

Several others playing and got a new one yesterday...unt88...former UNT football player is now set to play. Most are simply not posting in this thread for some reason. If any players would like to help our coaches draft players, please post a few stats here. Thanks. Players...still need 'em! Where are all our basketball experts?

Really happy I got to see this one in person. Really good effort on both ends of the court for the ladies tonight. The win is even more significant knowing all the injuries to key contributors. Congrats to Coach Pete and the UNT ladies tonight....UTEP was 9-2 in conference and 20-4 overall. Big win!

Folks...we will have a Coach Mac autographed photo or two as well as long as some other UNT and Non-UNT stuff. Jusat come out to the event and take a look and bid as your heart desires! Besides...you get to watch a pretty entertaining basketball game...and the half-time entertainment is worth the visit as well. We will have the annual half court 50/50 shot contest for anyone wanting to try their hand...$1 per shot...and the pot is split 50/50 with the winner and Cheer Team. I also hear that the Cheer Team may just demonstrate their National Competition Routine for us at half-time as well. BE THERE! IT'S FUN....It's for a great cause. AND...don't forget...we all head to Rudy's for some food/drink and awards presentations after the game. Lots of Mean Green fun not to miss!

You can bid at the event. All our silent auction items will be on display and available to all for bidding...players, volunteers, spectators, etc. usually have some pretty cool items for bid...both UNT and non-UNT related. Anyone with an item they would like to donate to the auction....just PM me. Gift cards to restaurants, etc. are always great items if anyone has an in with some place that might do ate to the event....hint, hint! :-)

You will get a PM with the draft list prior to the draft for your use on draft day. Trying to keep it simple. Just PM me if you have "coach" questions...no problem. It flows pretty well. Jason Ball played several years of arena league ball before injuring his back. Was one of UNT's great punters and kickers. Played for the Columbus and Denver teams.

Auction update... Just picked up some great Heart of Dallas Bowl Game autographed photos with Derrick Thompson and the Rice game punt return TD with Brelan Chancellor! Hopefully, folks will love these...I have sent photos of them to Harry, and hope to post them in the thread soon. If you want to bid and cannot attend the game in person, just PM me. Yes, you are correct. I graduated in 1966 from DHS and we did, indeed, have black students and black athletes at DHS. In fact our student-body elected athletic favorite for 1966 was not only a black football player named Jimmy Harris. Sort of bothered me that this film attempts to make so much out of that 1970's period when integration at DHS both in the student body and in athletics took place years before. But, it is a great film and deserves positive reviews.
