  1. My opinion...which I know means nothing....but If UNT wants to be considered a big time division 1 program...then from top to bottom they need to act like a big time program. These half fast hires and giving people a chance to prove themselves are fine...only if you have exhausted all other options.
  2. I'm sure other candidates are considered...I'm just not sure how much effort goes into calling them in....
  3. Haha...Nice
  4. Sounds like an excellent Division 2 coach
  5. I'm not saying I know all the behind the scenes...and I agree with everyone of you about the big names. All I know is that RV has a lot of faith that the new stadium will be the changing of the tide for UNT football. Not sure the same priority is being placed on this new coach. I know Jeff Bower is the edge to take over....with Fraizer being considered.
  6. I don't think anyone disagrees that Leach would be an AMAZING hire....I think almost all the fans would love that..... Apparently...it's just something our AD isn't going to do.
  7. RV is considering only Bower or Frazier from Prarie View A&M
  8. Guys....it's pretty much a done deal....RV is gonna hire Jeff Bower. They were at Southern Miss together and it's one of two of his targets.
  9. YES SIR!!!!! IF UNT BEATS ALABAMA I WILL TATTOO A MEAN GREEN FIGHTING EAGLE ON THE RIGHT CHEEK OF MY ASS!!!!! LET'S GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!
  10. So I work with a bunch of Tech alumni who...of course love to act like Tech is the greatest University hands down in everything. The argument now is that Tech academically is a better institution than UNT. I refuse to believe that a school (Tech) that has lower admission standards, been put on accreditation probabtion, and has the highest freshmen drop out rates in Texas is better academically than UNT. Am I right to say, "at best UNT and a Tech degree is pretty even." Little help so I can put these Red Raider alumni in their place.....what else does UNT have on Tech??? Thanks!
  11. With the exception of the pick...Tune did an alright job.....The problem was Outlaw.....He has one ball go right off his face mask, and another dropped to win the game!! Outlaw better turn it around....we're playing way to good to lose games off of little things.

He seems like a good guy.....but he is from California.....what do you expect...people out there are just different. 5'10 160 going against Kelly from OU....just isn't gonna cut it. Hopefully there won't be anymore tall dominant receivers he will have to cover this year.
  13. I think you all are giving way to much credit that people would actually buy it. I mean you can't exactly walk into a store and buy it. There might be a few hundred sold....that's it. Its a shirt....if you don't like it...don't buy it...don't look at it....worry about yourself....If more people practiced this type of approach I could still say Merry Christmas in the school I teach in without getting fired!!!
  14. Just because you can run the offense good in high school dose not always mean you can run it good at the Division 1 level. Plus he has been away from Dodge for a few years. I think teams like OU are a little bit better on the defensive side of the ball then collyville Heritage, and Trinity ( just a little bit though). I really don't see how much of an impact this guy can make for our team in one year anyways.
  15. Were at 11% now
