VMI's rushing yards were a direct result of LB Stephen Anderson suffering a season-ending injury against Air Force. His replacements too the wrong angle on several runs including runs of 30, 44, and 68 yards. As long as you guys don't suddenly decide to run the triple option, those particular plays won't happen this week. (Your plays of 30, 44, and 68 yards will come via the pass. ) Also, while our offense has been inconsistent all year, the VMI game was the ugliest outing of the year by far. One more thing -- your inability to hold a lead is matched, if not exceeded, by our inability to play after halftime.
