  1. Don't feel bad, we can't even get links to our own site right -- the link to OUR OWN DEPTH CHART on the gameday central page goes to our media guide -- it's been that way for three weeks now ( at least our media guide link takes you to our media guide )

  4. Yep, Hall of Fame weekend. One of my classmates is being inducted -- more than 20 years after we graduated, she still holds several Academy records. More info about what's happening on game day: http://www.goarmysports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=607331&SPID=4587&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=11100&ATCLID=204994668 Info about this year's Hall of Fame class: http://www.goarmysports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=11100&ATCLID=204949139
  5. GrayEagle, I'm confused by the first part of your post. An athlete who redshirts a year by not playing is in no way prohibited from then being granted a medical hardship waiver in another season. Medical hardship waivers are not really all that rare, what is rare is when a "headline" player gets one.
  6. BTW, you also round up: 30% of 12 = 3.6 games, round up to 4 so, not more than 4 games ( and not after the midpoint of the season ) ( I'd guess that someone who plays in 3.99 games might have a harder time getting the waiver than someone who played in 1.99 games )
  7. This graph of recent data might help some predictors:
  8. EPE, that's the old version -- change the 2 contests or 20% to 3 contests or 30%. 2010-2011 NCAA Division I Manual is at http://www.ncaapublications.com/productdownloads/D111.pdf
  9. It's games, not snaps.
  10. This is exactly correct.
  11. I'm surprised that there is not a West Point plate.
  12. Cool, let us (me) know if you (as a non-season or mini-plan ticketholder) get one, so that I can pass the word to future questioners.
  13. That's only necessary if someone put the beer on the highest shelf.
  14. yep, a few times -- all times below are EASTERN 9/13 8 pm (NOW) 9/15 3 pm 9/16 6 am 9/17 12 noon 9/17 9 pm 9/18 9 am
  15. I'm not sure you can get a pass for the stadium lots unless you buy season tickets or a mini-plan. It's also a bit late; I don't think they'd get it to you on time. But, you can try: 1-877-TIX-ARMY ( and definitely call if you need handicapped parking, just to be sure you get most up-to-date info on that )
  16. It's never too late to see the light. My dad was in the Navy for 27 years. The first wardrobe item Dad bought after I made my college choice: an Army baseball cap. Here's an article from the NY Times (9/11/2010) about the changes that Rich Ellerson, our head coach, has made to our football program: New Plan for Army? Going Old School
  17. Censored by Laurie asked me about parking, given the confusing nature of some info out there: No issue. Parking passes for lots around the stadium are the ones that need to be purchased in advance. "General admission" type lots ($10 cash for cars, $20 for "oversize vehicles") are available to all, but be ready to walk uphill to the stadium or wait in long lines for shuttle buses.
  18. Latest report says our starter (Trent Steelman) will play.

  20. In case anyone is interested in just reading or actually asking a question, the Middletown (NY) Times Herald-Record's Army beat writer, Sal Interdonato, will be hosting a live chat tonight at 6pm Central Time. http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100913/SPORTS36/100919935

  23. Parade 3 hours before kickoff = 0900. Be EARLY, expect lines at the gates to get onto post.
  24. Rudy, Rudy, Rudy... ...you need to expand your viewing beyond ESPN.
